Almost 20$ for 200 weight ? Almost 15 dollars for inventory space ? What are these prices I spent too much money already PC prices are way cheaper and better for certain important items and why is that ? That’s not fair I don’t mind paying money for weight but when it’s 20 damn dollars it kinda hard to justify that purchase in my head . Fix these prices or have a flash sale once every two weeks or something I’m sure there are more things in the pearl shop that’s wayyyyy over priced but you can be the judge for that .

Let’s just say, you know how there is this huge uproar about Loot Boxes in other games and how certain countries are considering them pure gambling? Well..has anyone really looked at this Pearl Shop and it’s ‘sales’?

There are RNG items on the Pearl Shop where the buyer doesn’t know exactly what they will get. There are items that can be bought then melted or breed then used in RNG in the game that results in potential complete failure which ends up you losing the item entirely. I can go on..

No laws are being broken. Not even in Neverwinter with lockboxes. How so? Because the player is choosing the rng element of it. They are buying the in game currency, which they receive after paying money. That's as far as the company's ethics need go to adhere to gambling laws. 

What the player does with said currency, is not the company's problem.

I'm all for probabilities on lockboxes being revealed. However, this game has no lockboxes. So it's kind of a moot point that we have to deal with. 

What has me perplexed though, is how there is no discount on bulk Pearl purchases. Take Neverwinter for example, you can buy, here in EU, 11,000 Zen for £65, or 23,000 for £115. That's £15 cheaper.

In this game, you pay 1 whole penny more if you buy 4000 Pearls instead of 2 packs of 2000. Hence, perplexed.

I think your confused or something when I say Prices im not meaning when you purchase the pearls from the Xbox store I don’t care about that I’m talking about the values of which a item cost in pearls 1700 pearls for 200 LT ? On pc I think it’s around 1400 ? If I’m not mistaken why would tax have anything to do with pearls ? Your confused my guy

I don't mind supporting a game if I am not buying dlc  But some things I do believe should not be sold.  All cosmetic things yes. Sell all the cosmetc stuff they want and pets is just fine, but leave bonuses off the cosmetic stuff. Bonus clothing, stuff you can break down for resources or anything that adds a bonus is just a no go for me. I even have the money to buy this stuff, but just feel some things are getting a little out of hand. Pets are another issue. I mean we can train horses and breed tiers withouth the cm. Why isn't this available for our pets. I think the system for smashing your pets is absolutely terrible. It is an absolute ripoff how much real cash you need to spend to get some of these to tier 4. People will say you can buy them off the cm. Well not really because nobody sells them and there is an endless preorder on them.

Here is my problem with it, they have been bragging since before launch that they would never charge for future updates or content, but this is a contradiction to those promises. If you want to play all of this games content now, which has 4 new classes, you have to pay. I'll describe it another way, this game now has 10 classes, a player can play 7 of those, if said player wants to play all 10, they have no other choice but to pay... which equates to locking content behind a pay wall.

Pets (arguably the most required pearl items) are not even locked behind this tight of a pay wall, they have been giving them out, and you can buy them in the Central Market.

The best solution would be to offer the character slots via loyalties and pearls, this way they player could choose between saving up their loyalties or buying with pearls for immediate convenience. Additionally they could allow character slots to be sold on the Central Market, or add another 3 as reasonably achievable rewards in game. Here is an example, level up any new class to 55 and get a character slot as a reward. This would allow players to earn the 7th slot for the 200 hour reward, make a new class, level to 55, make another new class and repeat. If the player doesn't want to go through that or spend loyalties or spend silver, or they want the slots right away, they can buy them with Pearls.

There are 17 classes on PC, if we have to buy 10 more character slots it will cost each of us at least $30 more if we buy them on sale, or up to $60 more if we buy them for full price... $30-60 to be able to play all the classes is unacceptable. This is the same as locking the new classes behind paid expansions, there is no difference from the player's perspective.

They are breaking a promise they have made to players who bought their product based, in part, on those promises, we should not stand for this and demand it be corrected. If we allow this, whats next, the desert expansion comes out but you have to buy a desert access item for pearls to go there... we need to put a stop to this right now.

Simon actually joked about locking content behind pay walls during Stream #7, saying they would never do it, yet hear we are.

Yeah ive gotten so much loot from you 1-2 tier 1 pet guys. Keep up the good work! My tier 3 pets love other players loot and pet short comings.

You're the one talking about dollars. Last I checked, you bought items for Pearls, not dollars. The Pearls are what you buy with real money. Would help to be clearer bud.

The Games clearly pay to win....but who cares. I'll grind when I want I pay when i want or Ill play another game. Do you have to spend money . No . can you buy stuff sell in CM for silver. YES . Can you pay to win. Yes. It boils down to money or time. The game will make it hard on you if your not spending money. People that say its not pay to win are clearly blind. Anything that gives a advantage with money is PAY TO WIN. The fact is you either accept it or you don't. 

Can you expect to be competitive with only buying the base $10 game without playing 20 hours a day? No, but you don't need to sell a kidney on the black market either. If you know what your doing and have reasonable rng you can easily get by with spending around $100 plus value packs in the future and be a top geared player.......without ever having to buy expansions like other mmos

Sure you can spend thousands if you really want to but its not required

Oh and selling stuff from the cash shop for silver in game is a little op atm but when awakening comes you'll be able to grind more silver in a hour than people are making off selling outfits on the market

I said dollars because you play 20 dollars for 2,000 pearls obviously .... you need to stop trying to sound smart when you don’t know what the hell your talking about dude . Stay in England with all that attitude just because we want REASONABLE prices dude not everybody is living with thier mom and using her allowance to fund this game .im not made of money 

i only have s problems with inventory and weight pearl prices I believe they are overpriced and should be a few hundred pearls less than what it is would be ideal at less 1350 pearls for 200 LT and 1150 pearls for 16 inventory 

You need pets if you want to play this game so everything is not a convenience purchase like you say it is you need weight so your going to pay money for weight or storage madis like listen to yourself

Well the game is $10. Thats about as low as an entry point you can get. So I'd expect a hefty cash shop to be included. Also when it comes to "console tax", yeah thats a thing MS has their cut as well. Now, I have 0 hard facts to go off of, I don't know how the money from purchases is split on pc between Kakao and PA. I'm going to ASSUME that if we have higher prices, it's to make up the difference. I'm assuming here that MS takes a larger cut and that PA has raised the prices so their income is matching theirs off of the PC. I have nothing to back this up of course. Also prices tend to be higher on a fresh launch, which we are. They could come down later on. They are a business after all, with a fresh start, the people that are going buy these items regardless of a few dollars difference. They intend to make more money off of. Do I support thi? s no, not entirely. But it's the world of video games that we live in these days. You don't need anything really from the cash shop. My shitty 4 tier 1 pets are doing OK enough. All which is get from participating from beta and the ultimate package. Which had a great value. My GS is just fine, I don't feel like I have to buy anything to get myself better. Artisan frags aside those are nice, but I'm holding out for loyalty rewards for those.

 Yeah this is my first real big MMO game I really got invested in I bought th ultimate edition and I realized even that wasn’t enough lol but I’m starting to understand not to give in to temptation lol but all we can do is try 

ive give in plenty of times gunna give in next week on payday too of at least £50

Price on X box , and pc version are same in region . Then if u play on x box value pack cost 15£ in uk, on pc will be 15£ as well . 1500 pearls on both versions of game .

There is no single difference.( unless item is on sale or something like that)

Unfortunately this is par for almost all mmos. It generates more cash then your typical 60$ expansion packs. Some aren't so egregious as others. Really teaches you how to maximize your time and effort put into the game which isn't a bad thing. It can make you a better gamer. But, someone with unlimited funds versus someone of equal "skill" with have a leg up. I can't necessarily compete with the top .1%. Where I chose to grind, I do just fine defending my spots. Just have to know where your niche is. With a lack of any hand holding, you really benefit from learning from the players with past experience. There will be bumps along the way, but the satisfaction of getting over them are quite rewarding. Especially if the cash shop offers a way to cut corners and you didn't have to take it.

 Yeah the grind is real in this game it reminds me of warframe . I put a lot of hours in that game and I didn’t spend a dime for the platinum but like you said some games have different motives when it comes to thier cash shop , I understand now I was bitter about spending 20  dollars just to get 200 weight but F it I love playing this game there’s so much to do I don’t mind support the developer it’s just that salty taste you get knowing you spend 17$ for 200LT and experience players will know that ain’t nothing lol
