Ship License / Workers and Materials Bug

I have been making Fishing Boats despite this bug, but it's getting really annoying.

-I have over 1000 of every item needed in my storage facility in Port Epheria.

-I also have 23 skilled plus workers.

I usually send my workers to do a single task, ie, each worker processes one bronze ingot at a time to maximize production since I watch and repeat on the next items.

Usually if I go a questing or something and need to send them to work on the next parts, my Shipyard acts as if I have nothing in the storage, until one of the many notifications that a "worker produced x amount of resource from any node" pops up on my screen, only then am I able to start using my workers to process the Usable Scantling or one of the many other items that had been sitting there waiting to be used.

Is this happening to workers who live in epheria or just the ones the dont.

Workers bring the supplies from their lodging city from what I have seen.

You might have been lucky in other workers having thing before now and are just out.

Heidel workers need scantlings in heidel to work in epheria, etc.

No I only use domestic to Epheria, so all workers and materials are in the same city. Seems to happen mostly after I change characters. I can reproduce this bug and record it. I used to work in QA.

I confirm this annoying bug. It randomly will refuse to start a task thinking that the resource is missing in storage which is wrong.

It works better if, before, you check the Port Epheria storage content. But still it's not 100%.

By selecting another task and going back and forth, in the end you can manage to make it work.

Thanks I have many videos of my getting it to work by waiting in the screen for a node worker to finish, for example: potatoes 20, pops up on the screen and then I can actually use the "X" button.

Sometimes you can just move up and down the worker list inside the "manage crafting" window and it will trigger an "X" option even though it says zero in storage. The work will start and now you can see the materials for all of the parts. While annoying it's not nearly as bad as the ship crafting bug at launch.. good heavens.

This is still happening and now that I have MORE workers all over the map it's now impossible to click on the "Amount" of jobs to be done my resources change because the cursor jumps to a "worker" way below the one I clicked so therefore showing "NO Resources". Come on This is really getting ridiculous. I'm about to post all of my videos on YouTube and post them here because by the time I scroll to the bottom of the list of workers to click the little button that lets them do more than one single job the amount of resources turns to ZERO.

Why has this been going on since launch??????????????

Yeah I can't believe this bug is still in the game at this point. It got better a couple of updates ago, but now is worse again.

This should have been fixed in the last update, are there still issues with the workers in Port Epheria ?

Yes there is still an issue with it not populating materials to start construction. You have to cycle through all of the workers or open and close the window several times to correctly show that there are materials in storage. However, once the materials properly show up, there is no issue adding multiple workers to assigned parts. It is nice being able to add 10+ workers to finish the boat instead of one at a time.

Can confirm, I have also had issues with materials not showing up even though they are there in the storage for ship building in Epheria. Backing out of the menu a few times and going back in fixed it for me too.  I did also have some issues adding multiple workers but I'm not entirely sure if that was just me not knowing how to do it properly as I've done it once or twice but was also unable to get it to do it other times.
