With the current rumors "awakening in next update!" (Which i do not believe). Does anyone know how we'll switch back and forth? 

My guess is ring menu as a skill. Hot key it with only that skill so its just a directional option on the dpad. 

Maybe this has already been discussed, but I've looked and haven't seen anything. 

Most effective way to switch between those is some skills anyways so Im not worried about that. Im sure there will be some way to switch without skills but I wont be using it when im in combat.

They could make it when your weapon is unsheathed you press Y to change between awaken weapon or regular since Y is unused

Totalmy forgot about Y during combat. Good point 

I imagine it'll be Y or LT + Y. Either way, I'm binding probably binding at least part of it to the paddles on my Elite. 

If its not next week it'll be soon after. Awakening will be required before we get Valencia and if they plan on catching up to the pc by summer than Valencia can't be far off.

Yeah not sure how this will work. I know we are limited on xbox, but this ring menu can get you killed. It is slow just gets laggy and if you suffer from that few seconds of locking your character in place after exiting any menu well this is a big problem that really needs fixed soon. 

The only non occupied button during combat state is Y and it will be most likely Y. It won't interfere with its current function because it is working only when your weapons are away and you are in "life skill" mode. 

So yeah, with striker it will most likely be press LT +Y for Spiral Cannon and LT + Y for Knee Hammer. 

Just my guess but there is nothing else and they cannot just make a hotkey on the bar, and they won't.
