So I recently made the mistake of accidentally dropping some +15 Ultimate Grunil Gloves, a mistake that cost me around 65m to fix due to the market place pricing and all. I was mass dropping some Loures gloves to clear some space for more potentially essential items, in which I made a user error and equipped a pair and forced my Grunil Gloves to the inventory and I didnt realize I had deleted until they were gone. Sad face.

Pearl Abyss is being kind enough to restore the item, a luxury they only afford twice a year. But I feel if we could lock gear it would essential gray out these items like they were enchanted and trying to sell them. They can be equipped and unequipped as normal but as long as its locked the gear cannot be dropped nor sold or placed in Central Marketplace. It should however be allowed to be moved into storage without worry.

Potentially this can save PA some item restoration time on these tickets that they are being otherwise very generous to use to restore, especially on user error such as my own.

TL;DR Let us lock gear so we dont accidentally do stupid stuff to our valuable gear.

I'd like to throw in a saved spot in inventory so it goes to the same spot every time you unequipped or move it
