Well I'm certainly satisfied with the combat pacing, I was initially worried with skills being on a wheel system as a second method to just doing the proper inputs but in all seriousness it definitely works.

They are not mutually exclusive, you can actually use both at the same time. So in this, I hotkeyed a few skills and ended up using them with the inputs as well as the hotkey (they do share cooldowns tho).

Im guessing its almost the same as pc. You CAN put certain skills on your keyboard. But you will probably want to combo into them

I did say "as an alternative" meaning that both could be used. But from the vid though I'm satisfied there is choice. However, I personally prefer to do combos in most games anyway.

I remember earlier this year in the first Dev note you guys mentioned 2 controller schemes is this the pne you pick or can we choose the pther step and so can you show us the other setup in the next video

It loos really nice, me and some people I know are ready. Saving up some money for some outfits and such for support once it's released in xbox.

still think the usage of skills this way can be tricky esp when you do 45° picks
simon said it himself that he is not  skilled in this class so he  picked on some random skills to cast

 in pvp you need to bring them up very accurate and timed and choosing the wrong skill could lead into a quick death or mess up your combo
i would love to see pc controller controlls as an alternative option or even better a hyprid of both (i made a thread about this idea  )

duno if you realized this litl thing but this was what rly amazed me:

the red dot indicates the skills cooldown
i rly like this because you wont need to waste your skill CD slots for quickslot skills anymore this way



 

Please for the love of GOD turn that damn screen shake off it hurts my eyes/head to watch that... game looks good but can we see the other classes I'm sick of seeing ranger

Yesthat what the form of a sentence, what I want is that if the team is to make a video per week of each class that we will have available initially, only this presentation will be a wait of 5 weeks since there are 5 classes left, and who knows after these videos will have some date to start the tests

If you bothered to follow the Black Desert Xbox Facebook page you would know that people voted to see the Ranger video first.

Maybe one class a week, then one life skill per week, one region per week and we have 2019 ?

In another topic a few months back I asked for a berserker video, Simon said that he’ll get that for me seeing as he plays berserker aswell. 

Also- in every single gameplay video from Xbox version so far there’s been Ranger, ranger and ranger.

Just act like that guy doesn't even exist man I'm sick of seeing rangers too I'm at the point if I seen a ranger in game I'm opening the 8 Inner Gates on them idc if I go red lol

Was it changed so that any skill can be put on a hotkey?
On PC only some skills can be hotkey'd and some are exclusive to hotkey.  Most are exclusive to whatever input combination tho.
 

And next video if possible could you show us some skill tooltips or descriptions?  And would be cool to actually see some combos if you could just look up a couple or even one combo, just so we can see its possible to flow a combo well.
