So I've looked around on the forums and the discord and didn't find much of anything for this in relation to the PS4. For those that like Role playing whether you're a new comer to BDO or played on PC, I've set up a community on PS4 to assist players in more easily finding RP. It's name is Black Desert RolePlayers (BDORP). Much like what the fan site of the same name did for the PC release I'm hoping to do a poll after the Beta to vote for an unofficial RP channel, which should make it easier to find RP in game.

No one said you can't RP and PK or PvP.
After all every story needs a villain, and war stories make some of the best stories.

The only thing RPers have asked for is to have a walk toggle, not asked for pve or RP specific servers, or to change the game to something other than it is.

yes!! I like to r.p! im getting pumped for this game! >.<; Iv never played it before tho.. IM a lil bummed I cant make my shai character yet tho.. So I dono what I want to make first.. a ranger or or a sorcerers... >.<;

Sorceress is fun if you like the technical aspects of combat and timing your CCs and the like as well as dashing in and out of combat. And she gets a badass scythe when she awakens.

Rangers great for maintaining distance and keeping a steady stream of damage going however gains dual blades when she awakens.

That’s fair but those points in the two still stand in PvE. With Ranger so long as you have the accuracy stat and AP to maintain damage you’ll be able to route purple and dark red mobs with ease so long as you maintain you distance.

with Sorc those CC, evasive maneuvers and combos will allow you brief respite before you can position yourself to AoE those mobs in oblivion.

Personally speaking I’m a Sorc main but if you’re new then Ranger is a good class to get your feet wet with.

I made a ranger got her to lvl 14 and then I made a sorc. just testing out the class an see witch I like best.. tho I really want my main to be a shai character.. so im just waiting for it to come to ps4 lol

Hmm might take some time when they will release other characters.
