Hi there,

Tried googling this to no avail, just started this quest and spoken to Nella Encarotia in Calpheon and gave her the correct answer that I will take care of the book. The game then directs me to get out of her sight and directs me to a nearby castle wall.

I stand there and nothing happens... what am I missing because this is driving me crazy. If I try to go back and talk to her it just gives me the same dialogue choices, not the new ones that should be there. Many thanks for any help.

I am having the same problem, as far as I can tell it is bugged. I even went back to the NPC you previously handed the book too before the update and he was not there. As far as I can see there is nothing we can do.

I too am stuck on the same quest, I have tried to do everything switching servers logging of and hard reboot on console. Seems like nothing works..kinda sucks can't go through the rest of the quest without it..

same issue.  I just chatted with someone that said they completed it.  Doesn't know how but said they just ran through it like all the other quests.  This is a MAJOR showstopper.  I can only find 3 posts about this.  Makes me feel like there is some trick to completing this.

I'm also having the same issue. That taught me a lesson though, I should have done this quest 4 months ago.

Having the same issue too. Anyone get past it yet or is it bugged?

Edit: Found a fix on reddit. 

If you log out then log back in at the spot it compltes.the quest.
