I cant see any visual effects from any other play but my own 

and this makes it hard to pvp because I can’t see any ones skill effect but they can see mine 

it’s impossible to pvp wizards etc when you can’t deadly magic coming towards you 

im getting hit and burned by invisible rocks and fire.

please help 

Yeah, I fully agree. We need some kind of potato mode, where the graphics are low quality, but the fps is higher and we can actually see the spell animations, even if very pixelated.

What are you specs?

Ps4/ps4 pro, 4k mode on, boost mode, 4k tv?

I got pro, 4k tv with 4k mode enabled ingame, boost mode on pro, character optimization off.

Got a theory that high ping doesn't see them, so all east coast players cant see them.

Same here, just noticed this last night as I did a guild quest for first time. 

I'm west coast. I play a wizard. I have fought a wizard and a witch. Both of them do not render spell particles when fighting against them. Sometimes when looking on as they fight others, you can see them. This also applies to any other ranged ability, not just wizards. Rangers and sorceress both have rendering issues with any ranged ability. 

This build of the game is unstable at best. Server lag, frame drops, freeze on new discoveries. Fail to render objects, NPCs, players, as you run up to or passed them. Xbox has lower quality hardware and is able to run this game with better graphics and render rates and is over all smoother game play.

If you have ps4 pro, turn off the 4k mode in your ingame setting of black desert. I started to see effects again.

On non ps4 pro, I would guess you turn on character optimization and turn down to 10 or 20.(cant test, but might help)

This is still an issue, Ever-sense the last patch my games effects turn off if im dueling or in fast paced action, I have reinstalled the game twice now, deleted all other games off my SSD, cleared the save data, obviously have gone through the very limited settings. So not sure what the deal is but only a handful of people I know playing have this issue, been playing for 6 months now and its just gotten really bad. Cant go longer then 40 mins before the effects crash and turn off.

since the last update on 07.07.2020 i got some graphic problems (i'm unable to see skill effects) it pops up after 1 hour +/- grinding.. it happens again and again no matter what settings or distance I make.

Hi everyone,

3 of my friends and I have just starting playing this game on PS4 but now we all stopped because we can't figure out how to see each other's visual effects!!!!?!?!? My brother's playing a Wizard and we can't see any of the cool magic's he's doing. The problem we can forsee in the future is PVP, not being able to dodge an incoming fireball as an example, because we can't see it coming, can seriously pose as a problem lol (kinda dumb to be honest)

Is there a fix for this because we love the game and now non of us want to play? We just all bought the game and feel we want our money back. Some of us are really angry as it's been a while that all of us are playing a game playing together (BDO has some how done this for us) and we're all really truly excited that BDO had a certain charm to it to keep us going but now we realize we can't see each other's visual effects!! Man this takes us completely out of the game!!!

Please for the love of God if there's no fix to this it needs to get fixed RIGHT AWAY but if there's a fix can you please comment and tell us what to do we tried almost everything!! Plz help guy's.
