I'm not sure if it has to do with the servers, or the way the game calculates that you get a kill towards a quest.

Many guild members experiencing this as well.

With kill quests, when you kill a group and the # updates the frames drop to unbearable levels. Same thing happens to guild quests.

I anticipated this, due to playing the beta on ps4 and the frames being terrible. I was reluctant to quit PC but multiple CM's in discord stated this would not be an issue on the ps4, and I have the ps4 pro. I can only imagine how bad it is on a standard PS4. It is awful and no other game I've played has extreme FPS drops like this. 

@CM Trent is anything being done about it? 

 

Other issues - 

1. Ring wheel settings reset when logging off

2. Camera position doesn't save and have to hold R3 for 3 seconds and pull back every time I log in.

3. No setting in game to scale the UI?

I left the PC game because I thought it would be more fun to play on a controller and with many of my ps4 friends. However, this game feels terrible and slow on ps4, and while i understand it will be much slower and less beautiful than PC... i thought it would at least be playable. 

5-15 FPS while grinding is unacceptable. Especially since I paid $100 preorder for this game, like many others.

Before someone suggests it's my internet. I have 150 down 30 up. Located in California

How to fix it?

No fix player side. Game needs updated build to something more stable. Xbox has lower quality hardware and runs game fairly smooth. 

This build of the game is very unstable. All things that fail atm.

- ranged ability render

- ranged ability particle rendering

- freeze on new discoveries

- failed input/input delay

- placed object render

- npc render

- player render

- texture render

- bump map render

- shader render

... List goes on. That is to speak nothing of class balance passes that are needed.
