Can we get evaluation of this, 5x this week i use more then 600 energy and 6 pickaxes a day to see 0 hard and 1 sharp.... no wonder there is always a major waiting list on preorder for the concentrated stones

I have found that farming or butchering has had a better drop rate on them for me. Try different methods of gathering and see if you get more.

Hi, i used to life skill on pc and am now playing on PS4. Some questions to evaluate your methods:

- Are you using lucky tools? Only gather with lucky tools until manos items hit
- What is your knowledge rating aka increased % drop rate for all items?
- Are you using Kamasylve buff?
- Gathering skill lvl?
- Is there an event currently going on for increased drop rates?

A very thin average i can offer is: at least 1 shard every 15-20 min. Mostly hards. This is not expected to last, rather get worse after our event ends.
Running with +10% drop rate from knowledge, +20% from Kama buff, lucky tools, event, Artisan 5 gathering, chopping wood or skinning.
It feels like butchering rewards less overall due to only single item drop chance + event drop + green trade drop. But might be rng.

Example data: Chopping pine trees. October 06. - 30 minutes total
- hard shard (after 3 minutes)
- hard shard (after ~ 5 minutes)
- sharp shard (after ~ 10)
- hard sharp (~28)

October 05. - 1h total
Butchering 1400 meat = 2 hards
Skinning 1400 hides = 1 hard, 1 sharp

--> as you can see, this can be viewed as rng luck or unknown + % event increase.

(im using a p2w hedgehog, but do not know if more items gahtered proc more chance rolls for rare items)

That's strange. I use pickaxes in the mediah area for my cooking utensils and get hards and sharps regularly. Are you using lucky tools? I'll test it again tonight or tomorrow. I also noticed, it's been a while since you posted this. Is this still you're experience? Or have you noticed any changes?

Currently there's an event going on with increased droprate on the shards from gathering. Also the last event had the same so we've had about a month of increased droprate on them now. This was posted more than a month ago so probably the event wasn't on yet.

Last week, the drop rate seemed okay. 2,3 maybe 4 per character. During the event I had days with max. 12 per character.

I have just come from a group tour with 4 characters and it has definitely changed something. At the moment I stand at 316 energy I had no drop at 2 characters, one hard for a character and one hard and one sharp for the 4th. That's 3 pieces at 1264 Energy, that seems a bit low for me.

Today was the worst day for 3 months since I started playing.

The marketplace EU say: 0 hards and 210 pre orders for that. Was standing at: 07.11.2019
