I know the fanboys again will again jump in to defend but seriously have they got anything to defend when even the loyal Xbox one streamers on You Tube have jumped ship to the PS4 version to try and get their ratings up. Even the forum moderators are now only streaming PS4 content in hopes of some sort of decent viewing ratings. Also if you actually look the viewing ratings they drop big times on both systems as players realise how poor and repetitive with no actual rewards this game is and leave.

I genuinely liked this game until i hit the upgrade wall and now i just log in for my cash and loyalty bonus then log out again. I come on these dwindling forums too once in a while just to see if there is any chance PA have listened and realised they are killing their own game, but to no avail. They too will probably jump ship too and maybe launch another console cash grab in the future with exciting game mechanics and a fun feel your progressing up till about DUO then nothing but failure and punishment if you try go any further without buying pearl items.

Oh and the Central Market on EU servers is empty so nothing to spend your earned silver on anyway   

….The ones that ARE still here are waving at you and anyone else that leaves!! lol

and also bigger games have survived on far less, so have some hope that PA will get stuff done .. its not as easy as you think to manage a game on 3 different platforms …. and take into consideration the amount of red tape they have to jump through JUST to push updates through Microsoft or Sony lol ...

I think any game can have survive just fine regardless of the number of people streaming it.

The game has been out for a long time on pc and they are continuing to support/update it and they still have a healthy player base.  Even if we lose a bunch of players I would imagine there would be a decent amount of people who still enjoy it and play it regularly.  The fact that they spent money to bring it to xbox (and now PlayStation too) means the game is doing well.  They wouldnt spend money if they didn't think it was a good investment....and if its making money I would think they would want to keep updating/adding stuff to keep people interested.

MMOs always have a pretty steady roll over. Players will always quit for a while, while others start playing again for the first time or to return.

The games not been out a year yet on Xbox? I log in every evening to silence. There was a time every town was busy, now you can literally see the tumbleweed roll by. Velia is about the only place thats busy with players trying out new alts or the few new starters but a week after you get them into guild they stop playing around the level 50 mark. 

I guess that must be the EU servers.  NA servers are alive and well from what I see.

Yes somebody from EU said it felt empty while here on NA its quite lively. Maybe consider playing at different times around your school/work/etc. Schedule to see if more players play during a specific time.

I haven't experienced that, I'm on NA servers if that makes a difference. My guild also accepts active players ready for end game so I wasn't aware about the guild thing either but I do imagine that does happen often. The game is definitely on a down part, but thats mostly because not a lot of content has dropped lately. Kama really only was accessible to a smaller part of the community since not everyone was ready to grind there yet. Once a new class or lifeskill content releases like Margoria, etc, I'm sure it'll pick right back up. Until then, its nice to have them work on the much needed performance updates.

So yes, many left. Population is likely at a low, but I doubt it'll be for long. Also have to figure now is about the time lots of big games release so many games are likely having a low population issue.

Always the same guy who says the game is dead (prolly because he either plays during in the morning and middle of the night) and the one that says 2bil silver is impossible to make and that market is dead and that whole Europe is dead because a niche mmo has times during the day cycle that less fishers is present in Heidel. It’s not mainstream game because it’s a complex game. One that you don’t seem to understand. 

Can we just move on? If I’m a white knight then he is sent by commies to sabotage the game and spread the propaganda.

Yeah mate he's a straight up liar! He's been at it for weeks. Even when you give a constructive response he chooses to try and play it down and then proceeds to call you a white knight. He's obviously got some serious issues with the game & it seems he wants to deter as many people as possible from playing by lying about the state of the game.

Look for your self its practically the same people on here posting and commenting day in day out. Yourself and Rocketfuel77777 are about the only two white knights still defending this game. Why are you so scared of negative reviews, if what i am saying is in anyway a lie or incorrect then i open to some genuine proof otherwise. But look around you do you see hundreds maybe thousands of replies defending the game or just maybe the same couple of guys jumping in. I see a lot more negative review of this game on all social media platforms than anything positive.

This game is niche. You and people who give the game a bad name are simply too mainstream to enjoy the game. Solution is simple, instead of talking sh*t and preventing new people from joining the game go play something else.

You need solid dedication to reach any goal in this game if you are trying to spend minimum required money. I have never bought/sold pearl shop item for silver, I'm not a whale and still steadily going towards soft cap gear, currently 511 gs. 

Why bother? Move on grandpa.

The forum's have never been particularly busy even when the game came out. Most people these days use other things such as Twitter/Facebook/Discord/Reddit to discuss gaming matters.

The reason I answer to your posts is because what you portrait the game to be like simply isn't true. For whatever reason you have hatred for this game & continue to try and provide false information about population. 

I've got my own things I dislike about the game mainly being the P2W aspects. I've never claimed the game is what it was like 5 months ago. I agree that the population has dropped. But what you describe almost on a daily basis is complete garbage.

"Forced" pvp has very little to do with it. For some sure, it's the only reason. From my experience, seeing guilds fall apart and friends leaving the game, even after they claimed it was their most favorite game. Most people are leaving once they get around that 450gs/lvl 58-60. They realize how long and tedious the grind is for a few points in gs and the time required to achieve the next level. I'm ok with the enhancing system. It rewards those who have sank a lot of time into the game. But it definitely deters the average gamer who wants to get to the next bracket. They realize how much of a time sink it is, and not guaranteed to boot , and move on. Console gamers aren't like pc gamers where we might stick to just one game and one game only. Generally speaking, console players jump around from single player to single player game. While having a mainstay multiplayer game. Streamers are only jumping ship because it's not as popular as it was when it first launched. Surprise surprise. Their lively hood depends on the viewers, who only want to watch what's popular in the now. 

Black desert also isnt a very stream friendly game.most of the content that would drawn in viewers which would be pvp is actually a bit rare outside of arena node wars etc.for the first time in weeks i got attacked while traveling. which shows that many of the trolls who did such things moved on.

I am not a partnered streamer but I do still stream BDX. A lot of the big streamers either went to PS4 or are no longer bound by contract to stream BDX exclusively, however, there are still at least 9 or 10 dedicated BDX streamers still.
