Putting away Scythe in combat

Lately I've been having an issue of my sorc sheathing her scythe after doing violation/turn back slash. Always seems to happen at world bosses and pvp. Why is it doing this? It's very annoying they would have that even a thing possible when Im not even hitting the stick to put weapon away. Is there anything I can do to remedy this?
