Hi all! Since the last update my bird pets automatically activate their skills. I only noticed this because the pets needed more food. This happens three times yet.

After a little playtime my crow and hawk pet have their talent "Finds Rare Monsters" activated. This happens random and is not a big issue, but consumes more good feed. My other cat and dog pets are fine ? have a nice day and thank you for your time!

Yeah, it happens when a rare monster is near, its a clue to help you grind. One thing about pets is that they level at the rate they are fed so keep them out at all times so that you can level them by feeding. After that take them out when you need them. Eventually you'll get to the point where you have a wide array of pets for different goals you're attempting to accomplish and you'll cycle the pets out. If "Find rare monsters" isn't a skill you would like to keep, use that pet to upgrade a different one

I think the issue is, that the talent gets activated, even if you have turned it off under commands. I had that problem a few times already too.

if you talking about Pet talents you have to differ between active pet talents and passive pet talents.

So if you have a doggo, its special ability is to find enemy players, its always the same you dont have to activate or deactivate this "talent", besides of that you cant deactivate this "talent". So if you level your doggo up  in tiers ( T1, T2, T3, T4) it gains  "skills". The skill can be deactivated by pressing on deactivate Talent. You also see this in your Pet Menu, top are talents which always active and bottom are talents you can activate oder deactivate. More information here: https://grumpygreen.cricket/bdo-pet-guide/

For example:

PET             -->         Special Abillity -->            SKILL

Then it is a typo or mistake in PS4 version, cause there the "Applied Talents" are what the guide is labeling as skills (the stuff your pet gets when you level it up to 10). And the passives like skill xp and life xp are labeled as "Skill list". 

Also I was sure turning off talents stops my ghost from attracting enemies. Though that might be a coincidence. 

Despite that, talents still get turned off automatically. At least if you go back into command options after a while, suddenly it is on deactivated and not activated anymore.

pet talents always deactivate when you change server, log off or die? always you have a loading screen the pet talents deactivate, and thats how it works.

You are on your alt just lifeskiling, you activate your pet talents cause you gain 10% more alchemy exp for example. Then you want to grind and you log to your main...

just farming fogans, so you dont activate pet talents cause ur pets dont have any talents you need to farm. You look after it ... and see ... they are already deactivated.

That's cause the game dont want you to burn food on your pets when you eventually dont need 'em.

To your post, it could be possible that pc version and ps4 version is different with tooltips or naming skills / talents etc... maybe it's not a mistake
