Saying im happy is an understatement! Lifeskills are a big part of BDO and this new content is long been waited for.

People who didn't buy the pearl cooking costume may close the gap to those who did. This is a huge deal.

This is not an obvious update since we know that there are future plans to merge the consoles which will need to be on the same build and etc.

I'd like to thank the staff who managed to bring us this content before the holiday season! Also thanks to our CMs who put up with all the nagging and requests from not only me but a big chunk of the community. You guys and gals are great ??

Not sure how this will close a gap for cooking, the p2w people will use it as well to stay ahead.

Going to be hard limited by shining powder, hope you are sitting on a plus 4 alch outfit and tons of tools.

Would make no sense because they want to sell a costume.
It's no big secret that 1sec. makes a difference of  ~15 min. You save with the costume ~30 min. cooking time per 900. utensil.

So there will be no close-ups without a costume - which is true, there will be a general time saving for all players, which is a positive thing for the economy.

to be fair if you got a +4 cook costume, teff, sharp lifestone and use adv utensil thats 2.1 sec cook which is much better than 3.5s cook (minus sharp stone).  thats atleast 20 minutes off your cooking. thats infact a gap closer.

Same thing with 2 second costume is 0.1 seconds? No.

It's me not blowing 1 million silver every 900 combines on a utensil. 

Right now I have to farm and build my own utensils, so that 15 minutes for the second is 15 minutes I am not farming logs and rocks.

Still come out ahead with costume.

But not trying to side track. Every one should get a sharp stone or use spirit stones if you lifeskill.
