Marking mobs/Custom quest

It would be extremely beneficial for knowledge, title and elite mob hunting to be able to mark certain types of mobs at any time.
I'm thinking similarly to how quest mobs are marked with orange dots.
Can we see a feature like this?

Perhaps once you gained some level of knowledge on the creature you can use the knowledge ecology book/list to highlight that particular creature. Allowing that option before discovering knowledge would be slightly unfair in my opinion.
