The higher the tier the faster the horses base speed is as the horse levels it’s speed also increases. A tier 1 horse starts at 100% while a tier 2 may start at 104% meaning the tier 2 will be slightly faster. Now tier 5 is obviously going to be faster than both of those. The horse can be increased in level simply by rising it. The tier can be increase by either breeding it (with a level 15 or above horse of the same tier or if you want the best odds then  both should be level 20 or above and be a horse of the same tier) now if you want to train both horses to increase their level at the same time you can attach them to a wagon.

The skills are different between the horses, some will get skills that will allow you to take off faster, make turns easier, or even stop instantly while others won’t.

wow! lots of things to a horse. >.< thnx for the info.

i'm yet to fully utilize the horse, i'm not even sure if i want to continue using it because i have to be careful were to park it when i go grinding.. also it only has 2 slots of inventory? is that the max? and i've noticed when you set it to auto-run, you can't actually sprint. >.< makes it useless against character auto-run with sprint every few seconds..

So if you get a wagon there is more storage space, that being said the wagon moves much slower but allows for a lot more weight to be carried around if you’re doing gathering for your life skills. I found this to be extremely useful when I was doing the gathering to craft a few things as the materials I needed would weigh me down past the 100% mark.

Should be impossible to get t2 from lvl 30 t1 parents, but may be its because i have used t1 from quest rewards, Not wild ones

actually this is a great idea. i haven't started doing life skills, so this will definitely be handy in due time.. i got couple of horses from the alts, and got the wagon from the Ultimate (not sure how to build it tho, but don't expect anything complicated).

This website helps you with the possible outcomes while breeding to get your ideal horse color (Most likely a pure white or black): www.somethinglovely.net be sure to click the [Horse Calculator] button, every other feature in that website is also helpful to everyone.

This chart should also help everyone know more about horses(click to enlarge):

Don't know what the breeding rate is, but from my tests it seems to be somewhere around 6-8, which means it takes a lot of effort to get even a t5.

Would be nice to have some info on the breeding rate and/or what tier horses are ingame. At this stage on PC t7 was ingame but very hard to get.

T5 is pretty easy to get honestly. I’ve managed to get it in less than a week of breeding and then afk training the horses when I sleep/ go to doctors appointments. If you use the calculator you can get the %odds of getting the next tier up (or higher) based on horse level. Most of the time 15+ will get you the next tier until you hit Tier 4 then you want atleast 20+ (25 if you want a 0% chance of the same tier instead of 6%)

What breeding rate are you calcluating from? I've had results that indicate a breeding rate of 6-8 which means there will always be a chance of the same tier and often chance of lower tier when you get to t5 and t6.

You're welcome

Anyone not aware of the color points on a horse, if you want to obtain... say the T6 pure black horse which is Red 0, White 0 and Black 6, the sum of points from both male and female you're breeding has to add up 6 Black points in total in order to have a chance at rolling the pure black horse, so make sure to breed only certain horses IF you want a specific colored hose

Notice I didn’t mention breeding past T5/T6.. just breeding up to. But to answer your question I am using the BDO companion phone app.

I got a tier 4 male from tier 3 lvl 10 male and tier 3 lvl 6 female the bdo companion app said this is impossible at a multiplier of 4 requiring a 5 minimum and as you got a tier 2 from two tier 1 lvl 30's which should be impossible at multiplier 6 it would seem it is at 5 right now but im breeding tier 1 lvl 3 and lvl 4 to check at 5 i should not get a tier 2 female

I've gotten a 3 tier 6 horses so far so that's definitely in game and unfortunately have only narrowed breed rate to be from 5-13. Assuming a 9 rate with t7 Being Max but am still testing this.
