In the beta I could not find a way to make my character walk slow, he alwasy ran whenever I moved the left stick forward. I think it should be so if you move LS slightly forward, your character should walk, move it further and he/she should run.

Great suggestion. I would have loved to use the photo mode to record my avatar walking elegantly.

Im very surprised nothing was implemented in this fashion, a toggle would work, or as you mention a slight touch on the analog stick would suffice as well. My preferred choice being the latter. 

Yeah I think it's kind of odd forcing the character to run always, though always been like this, I do hope they add a walking animation though. Just would look nice while relaxing and enjoying the view.

I aked GM Shirna once in game about it and he just said thet "it's suggested" but it should have been implemented from the beginning at least on consoles with the LS senstitivity as all other games do. It would make going up some spiraling stairs or traversing certain areas not only cooler but easier.

Certainly would be a nice to have, not a game breaker.

I agree it is not a game breaker, we are still playing man. But as you say, it would be nice to have it, so it is worth keeping the suggestion up imo.

it's ridiculous that they have such a realistic-looking world so beautiful so well done and then the characters just run like crazy people all the time. The strafespeed from left to right is completely different from the run speed too. It completely break immersion it is so frustrating.
