Please. I know the HP bar is pseudo-important, but couldn't you just set it to the side near the character? Also, I don't need to see who I am, my family name or my guild. I already know that; isn't it just a bit over-the-top? The nameplate in particular really obscures my view when I am battling monsters or whatever I fight. When I am in towns that are crowded, it obscures my view to NPCs I want to talk to amidst all the other players. In short, I feel seeing our own nameplates is a feature that is neither needed, nor wanted. Please remove this feature from game; at least allow us the option to remove it.

A lot of things I can work around or deal with but this is the one thing that is keeping me from fully enjoying this game. I don't know all the specifics of programming for the Xbox console but it doesn't seem like it would be a huge inconvenience to give us this option. With the information in the top left the name plate is completely irrelevant. It destroys immersion and is greatly distracting. This needs to be added as soon as possible.

I'm glad you can see what's going on with that fat block of text staring you in the face. I, and many others can't. I won't return to this on Xbox one until I have the freedom to remove it, so I can enhance my tactical awareness. Lol

I also play in 4k, and the HUD scales to the point where the overhead nameplate hp bar covers everything in my center vision. It's gotta go.

It's not that an hp bar in itself is irrelevant. Having 2 is unnecessary. If there is one already in the upper left of the screen, it makes the one above your head irrelevant. I understand that some players want and are ok with this. I also understand that in pvp having to glance in the upper left might be inconvenient. But some players are not into pvp. Having the option to choose when and how your information is displayed should be an option. A clean interface is important to some people.

in regards to the name/family name, i believe you need at least to see the name of that character.. imagine running 5 alts from the same class? now which alt are you on?

If that is what you prefer then the option should be there. It is not the elimination that is being requested but the option. Me personally, I would just look at my profile if I somehow forgot what character I was playing. The name could easily be placed above the information in the top left as well. 

All that info could also be moved to a less obfuscating point. Also, I have to point out that the PC version has the option to remove self nameplate. Anyway, if it was a move, I've played games where the hp bar was below the character, also beside the character. You still have HUD, and you can clearly see enemies.

I think they are going to add some ui customization options. 

To me nearly 99 percent of the ui is useless and I never make use of it although yeah I eat on my face. 

As for the health bar they can just make health bar appear only when in combat. 

That would be the best solution and of course an option to remove all other ui elements. 

I never look to quest tracker. 

Minimap is useless I have the big map. 

Any other information can be seen through the profile menu. 

Name and family name above head useless as well. 

Lets hope they add options fast. 

No ui is also Oled plasma friendly so yes it's important.
