Would be really nice to have a sense of time passing in the game. Why is there no night cycle anyways? It really makes no sense for it to be day all the time. It also makes no sense for 40 gray foxes to hang out together like it's Lollapalooza in the starting area but I would at least think you guys would have a day-night cycle?

And there is a day/night cycle... Have you reached lvl 20(I think)?

Day/Night Cycle begins once you hit level 16.

There is a cycle. You just won’t notice it until you actually play the game and progress in it.

Started last night. I'm level 14. What's the purpose of holding off on a night cycle?

Mobs get stronger in the night cycle and the game doesn't want you to die 24/7 until you reach certain level.

well, now you've heard of it.

from my experience, BDO does a lot of this different from every other MMO i've ever played.

Once you hit 16, the day/night cycle will turn on, and you'll get a quest from the Black Spirit about it, he gives you  an Atanis Firefly for illumination at night.

Interesting, kind of rubs me wrong as a realist, but I get it.
