Factions are independent from Chaos and Order which would be for single players to identify good or evil essentially. They always have the right to kill one another.  Factions however are ruled by a faction leader who has had sufficient reputation gained by the slaughter of other faction members and capturing whatever you believe should be a target for gain.

Guilds that join a faction for war over the conquest of the cities and town, much like a node war, but much more public for people to watch

There should be limits imposed so that there is a balance of forces as such.  We currently have node wars, but those are local events and small in comparison.

This would be a dynamic event that is player driven by greed and the quest for power.

These ideas not only pull away from the grind ans shift it towards reputation and power.

Such things would be a faction tax thats used to purchase faction NPC guards to protect whichever zone is occupied by that army

I understand nodes bring in taxes, but this is about control of resources and the battle for them on a much larger scale.

Imagine calpheon and its faction owning the Abandoned mines, the faction members are so powerful that the creatures ignore them in fear of instant death.

The faction could impose a tax on silver gained from those zones.

The occupying army would essentially be a standing army which would be a player driven event for the recapture of the zone to either kill those who dare enter or keep the peace.

The Faction Leader should be the one to decide how his lands should be ruled, but he should also note that should he be killed, he may lose his title soon after.

World Message "Lord Calpheon was killed by ------------, the faction is in shambles"

With the leader dead those with sufficient reputation can submit their name for the sake of that faction to be voted on for faction leader.

This has a huge dynamic value, as if you are ruthless in how you want to control what you've conquered, you may find assassin's lurking everywhere because you lose and gain Karma based on what your army does

I suggest that the leader has ample guards to command any attempts on his life, as he may be attacked by anyone for his actions

This idea does not interfere with the AFK skills and those who are out grinding spots aimlessly, well this gives you new reason to fight

A balance of gear, or special generic gear equivalent to mid-game where it would take no less than 2 to 1 to murder civilians, a AP and DP cap should be set so that the war across the land is fair and not equipment based

With this being said, we could also have player heroes, these are few individuals who have lost the lordship but are proven worthy for higher than avg gear, such in fact he could survive a confrontation of 5:1 and walk away bloodied.

To make things fair, he is slow and movement speed should capped at +3 because you can run but you cant hide.

As well with this, players should gain XP as if the other faction members were creature's and allow them to potentially stow their experience like we do with failstacking.
