I am encountering a problem wherein the RING MENU  keeps getting reset back to default for my various characters.  

This does not happen while actively playing a character, it is just that when you log into a character you may find that all your ring menu bindings have been mysteriously reset.

It is unclear what the exact trigger for this is.  I have tried but not been able to find a way to manually reproduce this issue.  I have tried rapidly switching between characters, tried closing and reopening the application, even tried power-cycling the PS4, but without any obvious success.  Yet it happens almost daily.  Usually I encounter it whenever I start up the game for the first time on any given day.

I have done google searches about  this, and found many similar reports, both by PS4 and XBOX users.  Apparently going back for a long time too.  Didn't find it listed as a Known Issue anywhere though.

Yes, if this is an issue for you then you are struggling with what part of xbox community fought against few months after release. 

I'm sure they are aware, working to resolve it but it took a lot of effort from players to prove devs the problem persists. We recorded and uploaded YT videos because they didn't believe us. 

For me it was more than ring menu, all my settings were resetting every time: options, helmet off option etc. 

Just wait, should be resolved eventually.

New character new skill set new ring menu. Not a bug at all.

It's random, doesn't have to affect all the characters. For me it was 2-3 of all.

I never said "new character".   None of the characters in question is new..  All of my characters had customized ring menus.  All of them eventually had their menus reset.  Multiple times.

Got you wrong sorry. Only thingi can say i face with that - its sometimes it not displaying my scills there but theay are there  when i  am trying ti use it

I think it happens when i switch off chars, cos its more like ui but which doesnot affect my gameplay... Next time you feel like its vanished just try to use smthg... (just to check that is vanished but not just ui)

Same problem Xbox had a little after release.  What I don't get is why they are acting like the reset is a new bug on PS4 and talk about making sure disconnect to save settings.  

I've had my menu set on my archer since release it has reset almost everyday since Valencia launched along with the locks on my skills.
