Every time I try to log in, it says "Now processing" and after a few seconds a window pops up that says "Profile authentication failed." and all I can do is press X to go back to the title. I just bought this game... I'll give it a day or two and if it doesn't work I'm complaining to Sony and getting a refund because the game is literally unplayable.

Same happens to me. I deleted and reinstalled the game and I can log in just fine. I need to download 30% of rest of the game.

I was afraid that was going to be the solution. It took me almost 80 hours to download the first time. My friend at work told me about it two Fridays ago and I said I'd install it that night and we could link up on Saturday. I went to work on Monday morning and he asked if I forgot. I told him it still had 21 hours to go when I left the house  Assuming it's the same again, that puts it somewhere around this coming Saturday afternoon before I can try to log in again and I will have seriously spent more than seven full days downloading a game twice (I have about four hours of actual play time so far). I'll give or a shot, but if it says 99+ hours remaining again, I'm just leaving it uninstalled.

EDIT: I tried one last time before deleting it and it magically magically worked!!!

Hey there guys! Sorry it took me a minute to respond, I was out of office during the hotfix today. There was an issue with the Warriors awakening skills after the update last night so we implemented a hotfix. Subsequently this hotfix gave some players a profile authentication fail error upon re-log in. We then did another hot fix to clear up the issue and everything seems to be running smoothly now.
