The prospect of being able to get Pearl shop items from the marketplace is very appealing to me. Just one slight problem. I never seem able to get them. Value packs, and particularly, outfits, never seem available, even when put on order for months on end. My question is this. Only way to get it is to place an order for something that doesn't have any orders and ask someone to buy it.

The silver isn't worth the money so people don't buy things to put on the market. If they do buy outfits they just smash them themselves. PA needs to increase the price of pearl items to incentivize whales to sell them imo

Like an outfit costs $30, but sells for 241m silver. A high GS player can make that silver in game in lsss time than it would take to make $30 IRL and frankly a player who is geared enough to make silver that quickly doesn't really even need silver. So that's a problem too.

The only time I ever sell pearl items is when I have leftover pearls to waste from buying things I actually want for myself or if I buy an outfit set and only want a few specific pieces out of it

As a player who purchased pearl items to sell to fund enhancing, horse training etc it quickly become apparent that doing so was basically gambling, I was not a whale by no means but spent around 3-4K and after having to deal with the fact that for the last twelve months being stuck at 550gs and many PEN fails I quickly realised that helping others was not helping myself, this game is definitely not pay to win in that sense!

The whale would buy to purely buy their gear with silver and with a PEN boss piece costing 1k-1.5k and a PEN accessory 5-7k the cost in gearing to full PEN amounts to over 45k and with over twenty classes it’s apparent that greed is greed when console has stability issues, fluctuating player base due to many faults with game design, the whale probably geared a few classes, have their dream/doom etc and now stopped buying for the fact that the packs now contain enhancing materials and less outfits so the cost to return just isn’t worth it any longer!

Unless new whales come into the game there will be dry times for the items your after and the average player struggling to enhance has realised that gambling in a game isn’t worth it due to the aforementioned reasons and many more!

The sad fact is, until PA makes the packs just contain outfits instead of adding trash to the pool to get more profit they’re hurting themselves and the general player base, that will always be a problem with a ‘make a problem’ then blatantly solve the problem via the cash shop!

May I make a suggestion; grind for your upgrades or grind and buy for less stress, purchase from the pearl shop if and only if you want it for vanity and not to enhance!

The biggest mistakes PA is making in regards to the game is not addressing the thing that deters the masses as a whole and that’s enhancing, having a cap that’s not obtainable within a decent time period is futile and not bringing new content whether that be new gear or further enhancement beyond PEN to ‘keep the player grinding’ is short sighted!

Fallen god drops soon so you may see an influx on the market, but once the whale has, the rest that’s left behind will give up as usual, more whales will leave and PA will solidify their future demise with greed by further altering event/sale boxes to maximise profit and lessen the reward for any whales/buyers that are remaining!
