Been playing BDO on Xbox casually for a few years and was surprised how much better is performed on Series X when it came out but was wondering what happened to the Next-gen port?  So far the only update it received was for FSR 1.0 which certainly wasn't for visual enhancement and wouldn't mind hearing an update on what's happening with it. 

There's certainly plenty of overhead to make an improvement to visuals and resolution but really want to keep performance at 60 fps and up, 30 fps 4k never felt good, be happy if they'd just unlock the framerate from 4k till a real update released.

What's going on with the console game? Why are there no new updates? When do we get a winter location? When will we get a new island? Why are the game developers treating the console version of the game so poorly? More than two years ago, we were promised a next-gen patch - where is it?

This is some bad joke. We haven't had any major updates in over a year. It's already summer outside, and we're still in the spring season :)

No Winter region... no abyss one magnus update...  land of the morning sun update  passed for console as well... the game just barrells ahead on PC...

Release content for CONSOLE or provide some feedback that's realistic... saying NOTHING just makes your console players go elsewhere??? Is that really what you want?     Silence kills games.   Take heed.

missing also: vells heart in ocean, shai music, balloon transportation to altinova & valencia, atoraxxion solo mode....

guess there are a zillion little more things....

You are right, with the release of the game Throne of Liberty online in BDO, it can drop very much, although it is already very low

Seasons and new characters are good, but not enough to stay in the game. We need content, give us a winter location, at least something.

Completely agree. New bosses, new locations, new items and much more are needed. I heard that PA wants to match PC and console content. But now we are more than a year behind the PC. #contentneeded

I understand that development is not easy but is there anything more current we can refer to as a progress report on console support. The GM note that you're referring was 6 months old at the I made my post. I hope PA doesn't expect the audience to be content with progress updates literally half a year old.

We now get the Land of Morning Light, fine. But I want more urgently the Winter Region with new starting area. Season for season the same rotnase way. Since Drakania release I am envious to the PC community with this, as this Region is related to the Drakania story. Know this as I played a bit on PC. Without the Winter Region and new starting area the Drakania is incomplete. Song from Queen:

I am returning player who originally played day one on PC and a few years later on Xbox. I am now on PS5 and it's great knowing a PS5 version is in the works. If possible to the GM. I say shoot for 1440p 60fps. I feel like going to 2160p will be too much of a compromise. Either way this update will be great for when the PS5 Pro drops next year (Allegedly).

Garmoth is there since 12.2022 as Solo Boss, look here:

But Vell(s Heart) is still missing, and is very desirable.

on the PC version of the game, Garmoth is not only a solo boss, but also a world boss that appears twice a week on Thursday and Saturday.
And then there's the guild boss Garmoth. But a drop of them is three crown stones.

Vell also appears twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday.

on PC you can kill Garmoth twice a week (world boss), + once a week (guild boss), once solo.

Sometimes an event is held on the PC, according to which you can kill the guild boss Garmoth twice a week.

This I know of course, but the Solo Variant is better then nothing as it has a chance to drop Garmoth's Heart.

Vell's heart is complete not there, that is worse because this is a BIS.

Also hoping that next-gen update comes soon.

Next-Gen console update asap, we're waitinf for years, same enterprise, same devs, same publisher as PC BDO and we are still lab rats. 
we deserve more information!!
