Since this afternoon, my horse follows me everywhere, automatically. Is that normal? I did a bad manipulation?

Greetings Pixidragon!

Your horse will follow you everywhere if you just caught them but have yet to register them with a stable master. It can also follow depending on the distance if you call them while near but are in continous motion.

And that's why its icon on the screen is in yellow?

Greetings Pixidragon!

For that indicator (if you're referring to the Yellow horse icon) is to suggest that your horse is a courser. A horse being a courser means that it is more valueable when registering it for sale at the market or using imperial delivery. It also means that the horse (depending on it's tier) can also be used for attempting to awaken a dream horse.

If you're referring to the Yellow half circle, that refers to the horses current stamina levels.

If you would like to see more information regarding horses, we have a detailed training guide on our adventure's guide & I shall provide a link to it below

No, sorry, I explained myself badly. I wanted to go too fast.
On the photos, they are screenshots of pc games.
On my Xbox, there is none.
The link, you gave me, is broken (???), but I will try to find another guide. Thanks

Hello.

I forgot one thing. It's the same for all the horses in my family with this character. Not with the other 17 characters on my xbox.
I have never caught a wild horse. Either I brought horses from stables or I got them as gifts.

I searched for several guides, but the ones I found are for how to catch a horse and what's next.

I will jump in here, as I just made a ticket about this.

The problem is, the horse suddendly teleports to you or follow you unwanted.

This is repeatable. It happens since this update (17.5.2023).

Behaviour before:

You park your horse and take it back or call it when you need it. Horse does not leave that place to follow you or come to you. You have to fetch it or call it.

Now:

You park your horse at a save place. then as soon as you finish your quest, the horse is teleported to your questgiver or it comes behind you. This happens each time and my horse was already killed by this. The idea is not, that the horse appears uncontrolled near by the questgiver. For example the Bahaz bandits or Bashim Base or Pollys forest, these are dense mob regions where this behaviour is unwanted.

Maybe the idea was to bring more comfort. But it makes situations unpredictable.  I dont want to leave my horse in the next stable as I need it for carrying stuff I get when I kill the mobs.

For me this is a bug & I want that my horse stays exactly where I left it. It should not follow me accidently..  Or at least it should be configurable.

I hope this makes sense, english is not my native language...

Greetings Mercenar!

Regarding the behavior of the mount upon quest completion, this was recently added during our May 17th Update

Unfortunately the patch notes did not reflect that change which is where the confusion comes from.

We're currently looking into ways to make improvements to this system so it can be an added + to our players quality of life, if you have any feedback concerning this change please feel free to let me know at anytime.

Hello [GM]Ash,

thanks for clearing this up. Now it can be handled more predictable, as this behaviour is bound only to the Main Questline, when I got this right.

So I dont need to put my horse in the stables in Calpheon City and then teleport it to Grana any longer when using the baloon flight in the Kamasilva Questline.

Nevertheless, the improvement to make this behaviour switchable will be welcomed.

BTW, relating baloon flight: Is it planned to give us the additional baloon routes like they are on PC (Grana / Altinova etc...) in the next future ?

And..... are there any hints what is planned with the air ship that can be seen crossing the world of Black Desert frequently ? I saw it often already f.I. when fighting Karanda. A baloon-ship crossing the sky :-)

Greetings Mercenar!

No problem at all, I'm glad I was able to help!

In regards to other additional travel by baloon locations, this will make it's appearance in the future & of course we will inform you of that on our

main webpage when available.

The baloon flying throughout the sky is something you will have to see for the future =]

Hello, Pixidragon!

Your newly captured horse will stick by your side regardless of whether you've officially registered it with a stable master or not. Additionally, it can stay in close proximity and follow your lead even while you're in continuous motion, depending on the distance and your calls. This valuable information ensures you maintain a strong bond with your equine companion in various situations.
