I am trying the Land of the Morning Light jump quest where you have to get the temp buff.

How do I do a high jump correctly? I get the buff and start glowing blue. When i press "A" (jump on XBOX) my character just jumps normal.

Any clue what I do wrong here?

There's a spot you walk to and it flings you. Go to the quest marker
