I would suggest giving a prompt warning (3-6 months) for old console users to upgrade or finish their time on the game, and announcing an update for next gen port ASAP.

Given the circumstances surrounding performance issues in Korea that have led to PA apologising on stream, I really hope this serves as an eye-opener to what has plagued console for years now.

Black Desert is such a visually stunning game that is hampered by poor performance on console. The console scene has dwindled to near emptiness when not at peak hours and its really disheartening to see. So many longtime players keep quitting because there is no transparency on when we may see these optimizations.

Please bring life back in to this game and focus purely on bringing new gen support ASAP.

At the very least, maintenance mode for last gen consoles. I use my ps4 for afk lifeskilling still, and it would be nice if we could have a dedicated current generation version of the game. A good example is releasing Vell for current gen at a reasonable date, then maybe, if PA reeeeeeaalllly feels like it's necessary for some reason, waaaaay later on if things work out, last gen can get it too, maybe they won't. 

Current generation should not be held back due to last generation limitations, not at this point. The scalping issues are done, the consoles are on the shelves.

The console community as a whole has largely felt under appreciated and neglected by Pearl Abyss. The lack of support for PvP content has pushed away many players that have poured their blood sweat and tears into this game.

 A change such as this, a next gen port, would go a long way in showing the community that PA cares about their console players and it surely would breath life back into what many feel is a dying game. please give this suggestion some serious consideration.   

I almost didn't download the game but it was free and I already burnt out on all the other online mmorpgs over the last few decades. I have since fell in love with the game and have spent a few hundred bucks in the last few months. I will not be spending anymore on BDO unless it's through a bug free PS5 client. Sorry just doesn't seam like a smart idea if it has a short shelf life.

The people at PA need to understand how much we all love this game! we show that every day with all the time money and feedback we give. Some of us even stream to promote this amazing world yall have created for us, so much in fact that others get involved and motivated to start there own journey. We all understand its not easy to always get things done fast especially with game development, but for as long as some of us have been waiting we are long overdue (almsot 5 years)if dropping old gen will give us an overall better gaming experience like so many of us remember befor class Awakening drop and or cross play then do it asap because at the end of the day you are losing people that bought the new consoles specifically for that crisp Black Desert online experience. We all want to enjoy this great game the way it should be, optimized!

It is absolutely ridiculous how far behind we are on major content. The content associated with Eternal Winter is a core part of the game on PC, especially when it comes to artifacts. Two years is more than enough time to have surged some development resources and resolve any issues the content is causing. If the old consoles are what is holding development back, drop them and move forward. It will not be the first game to do this and there has been plenty of time since current gen consoles were released.

My thoughts exactly. I love this game. So much. After on and off playing for about a year before I truly started to appreciate it. I see they're trying with making sure we got LomL at a good time but just skipping mountain of eternal winter and everything that comes with it in terms of new grind spots/ labreska/artifacts. Is just ridiculous. I'm not sure if we don't have it is because of limitations with old gen consoles but it needs to be figured out. There's alooooot of new MMO's coming out in 2024 and a good majority are coming to console as well. As of now BDO is kind of the best choice of console MMO depending how you feel about ff14 I guess. I hope the upcoming competition and PA's new direction gives us console players the game we deserve too. And not just PC

Many interesting projects will be released soon on the console. Don't waste your time and money on a game that the developers forgot about

I imagine if we're gonna get a response from PA anytime in regards to this it'll be at the calph ball since we haven't heard it here yet.
