Yo, wanna get a pretty good Monitor for my X1X, it'll be mainly for gaming black desert at home, but will be doing some work on it aswell. 

I am currently looking one at attached images. Does anyone of you play with a monitor for your console? What do you play with? How big? 

Should I get a curved? Should I get 4k? AMD FreeSync a must? G-Sync or whatever?

Do I need more then 60Hz? 

I kinda wanna get like 28" minimum, preferably 30+ i think.

Tbh I googled "TV buying guide" when I was after new one for Xbox. There are very many guides/YouTube videos with explanations of the features on TVs.

Ignore the smart TV/monitor it doesn't give any advantage and adds just option to have YouTube etc.

Look for HDR - better colours 

Ofc 4k 

There was also something about 4k giving best results on screens higher than 50", but I don't remember it all. Google is your friend

Make sure it's HDR10, 144hz, freesync for best results, might also be most expensive.

Niiice! Yea probably pricy but worth it for the amount of time one would spend infront of it.

I got that monitor bought it in Sweden and cant complain sure 4k is huh but as long as I can play and have a good sized monitor I use for my PC so as Xbox this one is nuf.

You’re satisfied with it? Somewhat pricy too but has alot of good **** on it

So.. I fell in love with another one (link below). 

Booked it, getting it tommorow. Specs: QHD 1440p VA screen, AMD FreeSync, 31.5" somewhat curved, 144hz. 

Price: $454.

My only question that is left is.. Am I doing wrong giving up the 4K? It's abit of a price thing here, seeing as the 4K almost doubles the price if I want the rest of the stuff this one got. 

Also saw almost only excellent review's of it of the several hours I've been researching.

Its great, annoying foot. Gotta get a new arm so i can move it around or a wall mount, then i’d be satisfied.

Yeah, one of those adjustable wall mount arms would be brilliant.

You shouldn't have given up the 4K. And the 144Hz is wasted, if you're sticking solely to the Xbox for BDO, as it runs at 30FPS. TV's and monitors are traditionally 60Hz due to console games never exceeding 60FPS. By remaining on console, the 144Hz can't be taken advantage of.

Mounting tv's scare me tbh. california has earthquakes from time to time so id be scared it would come loose

Owell, I think I’ll be satisfied enough seeing as I’m doing alot of work on it (home Office) I think I need the 144hz.

Firstly, I've played pc version since launch 2016 until january this year. So I know a thing or two brudda

Say what?! The plant does the entire setup! My business card which is green on the left side below the lamp so I need to stabilize it on the right side aswell.

True, if you're only looking at the current development cycle...would kinda be silly to plan for the future. ?
