• Updated the Recovery Support Criteria

- In Black Desert, we have continually updated our game over an extended period to provide our adventurers with a more satisfying gaming experience. As new content is added and various systems are improved, we have determined that the items previously supported for recovery through our Support also need to be modernized to reflect the current content and service landscape. Based on an analysis of recovery requests received via Support, we have added the following new items to recovery support: Let-Go Fairy, incorrectly extracted Pearl outfits, and equipment used as material for maximum durability recovery.

Furthermore, considering the diverse play styles of our adventurers and the limitations imposed by the fixed number of recovery attempts per category, we have expanded the available number of recovery supports. Moving forward, you will be able to choose the recovery item of your choice within the predetermined number of attempts for each category.

• Introduced the Loyalties Policy

- In conjunction with the previously announced overhaul of our Loyalties System, a new Loyalties Policy has been added to our Operational Policies. This policy outlines the terms for earning, using, expiring, and the limitations on Loyalties. Detailed guidance regarding these provisions will be provided in line with the Loyalties System overhaul schedule.

• Updated the Restriction Criteria for Inappropriate Website Posts

- To foster a more pleasant community environment, we are implementing new measures and criteria for handling inappropriate posts on our website. In particular, if any content—including the unauthorized disclosure of personal information or the promotion of illegal or harmful websites as prohibited by applicable laws—is detected, immediate restrictions on community access may be enforced. We ask for your active cooperation in maintaining a clean and welcoming community.

• Increased Penalties for “Disrupting Game Operation” in the Restriction Criteria

- Violations under the “Disrupting Game Operation” clause can result in significant harm to many adventurers. The current restriction level, however, may be insufficient relative to the potential damage. Accordingly, we have introduced a new clause to ensure that penalties are commensurate with the scale of the harm caused. Should any further violation of this clause lead to severe damage to other players, immediate permanent access restrictions may be imposed.

• Removed Redundant Items in the Restriction Criteria

While Black Desert's Operational Policies already specify that appropriate measures will be taken in the event of any violation of applicable laws, we have identified duplicate entries within the Restriction Criteria—specifically, the items "Violation of Law" and "Real Life Threat." To reduce confusion, these redundant items will be removed from the criteria.

Please note that if any conduct that violates applicable laws is discovered, appropriate restrictions and, if necessary, requests for investigation or assistance from relevant authorities and judicial bodies will still be pursued.
