This update brings Maegu Awakening, Nodewar/Conquest war improvements & Mythical Dream Horses.

Do Wielder of the Enlightened Flames, Awakening Maegu

Awakening Maegu has arrived for all adventurers!

Awakening Maegu is a melee class that utilizes fast speed and smooth directional changes to overwhelm enemies, the opposite of the ranged attacks of her Succession. However, her ability to approach enemies in Succession has been incorporated into her Awakening skills. This was done so that she can solely rely on her Awakening skills, instead of constantly switching back to her main weapons skills.

Awakening Maegu has a “Spiritforged" state. When using skills such as “Emberclaw Slash”, “Emberclaw Torrent”, and “Emberclaw Finale”, she enters the “Spiritforged” state. This makes her next skills even more powerful. Unlike other methods that require a change in state or the use of other resources, you will automatically activate the “Spiritforged“ version of skills after the aforementioned skills. As long as you keep the combo going, the “Spiritforged” state will be maintained. So, we expect Awakening Maegu to utilize extended combos to keep the attack going.

  • Awakening Maegu, the Do Wielder of the Enlightened Flames, has arrived.
    • Awakening Weapon: Foxtail Fans

  • If you have a Lv. 56 or higher Maegu character in Succession, summon Black Spirit to get the [Maegu Awakening] Mysterious Letter quest in the Main Quest.
    • Navigation may not appear when you accept the quest in the Land of the Morning Light. You will need to be guided to on the continent with in Balenos to get the the quest location with navigation.
    • After the awakening quest is completed, the '[Skill Preset Coupon] Using a Variety of Skills II quest can be accepted and completed from October 18th.

  • With the arrival of Awakening Maegu, Maegu's Succession and Awakening skills have been balanced as follows:
    • Succession: Main weapon AP 70%, awakening weapon AP 30%
    • Awakening: Awakening weapon AP 70%, main weapon AP 30%

  • If your family was in possession of the Tuvala Pendant, it has been changed to Tuvala Foxtail Fans.
    • You can find the Tuvala Foxtail Fans wherever your Tuvala Pendant was being kept (etc. your inventory).
  • With the arrival of Awakening Maegu, Marni's Pocket Watch has been deleted.
    • Enhancement items used to enhance Marni's Pocket Watch have been moved to the Heidel storage. (Enhancement items: Heart of Karanda, Inverted Heart of Garmoth)

Node Rotation by Tier

To freshen up things for all our adventurers who've been enjoying Node Wars, we decided to change the days Node Wars is held for each tier. We mentioned in the Global Lab that we broadened the number of participants per tier, but after receiving your feedback, we adjusted those numbers downward accordingly. This is to ensure steadily growing guilds can organically consider participating in different tiers. We've maintained the number of 100-participant nodes and adjusted the numbers for more flexible participation as well..

Occupying Lord's Guild (Alliance) Participation in Node War

The guild of the lord in occupation of a territory was previously unable to participate in Node Wars held in the same territory. However, many adventurers shared their concern in how this limited the selection of Node Wars an occupying Lord's guild (alliance) could participate in. To alleviate such concerns, we decided to change this rule and thus allow for guilds/alliances of the occupying lord of a territory to now be able to participate in Node Wars occurring in the same territory.

  • Changed so an occupying lord's guild/alliance can now participate in Node Wars occurring in the same occupied territory.
    • Participation opportunities remain fixed to twice per week regardless of victory/defeat/liberation for the occupying lord's guild/alliance and will reset at the end of Conquest Wars every Saturday.

Annex Construction by Tier

Depending on the tier of the Node War, annexes available for operation will be set. For adventurers who are new to Node Wars, we encourage you to gradually grasp the fundamental rules and enjoy a more diverse experience as you progress to higher tiers and unlock these annexes. Of course, mastering all the annexes is necessary when reaching the final tier, just as it was before. Therefore, we will continue to provide content to assist novice adventurers in naturally learning how to utilize them.

On the other hand, Tier 1 Node Wars lacking defense annexes can be susceptible to "boosting." We understand that revealing the fort's location before the war even commences is an aspect that requires attention, and as such, we are devising measures to address this.

Annex and Fort Durability Adjustments per Tier

Annex structures for Tier 2 (previously Tier 1 Intermediate) Node Wars were identical to those available in Tier 1 (previously Tier 1 Beginner) Node Wars. To differentiate between the two tiers, we adjusted the durability and stats of annex and fort structures to levels appropriate to Tier 2 Node Wars. We also received a variety of opinions regarding the usage of Indomitable Flag for Tiers 3-5 (previously Tiers 2-4) Node Wars, and thus adjusted the flag's durability to numbers fitting to the number of participants in each tier.

Stat Limits per Tier

We've increased the number of participants mainly for tiers 3 and 4 (previously 2 and 3), and, in order to give everyone a fighting chance in now larger-scaled battles, have adjusted the stat limits accordingly. We've also received a lot of feedback from our adventurers regarding the Extra Attack limits for Tiers 1-2 Node Wars (previously tiers 1 beginner & intermediate). Items relatively unknown to up-and-coming guilds/adventurers can greatly increase the gap in stats between guilds locked in Node Wars (such as Kaia Necklace and Chimera's Pupil Gem), so we are planning to minimize such advantages in those aforementioned tiers with a few adjustments. In addition, we took priority in addressing occurences of max HP decreasing over time contributing to deaths in Tiers 1-2 Node Wars, and we plan on adjusting HP for other tiers of Node Wars in a future update as well.

Sturdy Barricade

Sturdy Barricade was a personal item and was not included in the tools for constructing node annexes. Therefore, after completing remote construction, you had to visit the fort in person. Also, because it could only be obtained through house crafting, there were Adventurers who did not know about it. As such, in order for adventurers to participate in Node Wars with more ease, Sturdy Barricade will be removed and materials used to craft them will be returned.

  • Removed Sturdy Barricade from Siege Weapon Workshop tier 1.
    • With the removal of Sturdy Barricade, if you had the item in your possession, the following materials were returned for each of them you had.

Ownership status and actions by Central Market status
  • During the Oct 4, 2023 (Wed) maintenance, the following actions were taken for Sturdy Barricades based on their status.
    • If you owned the item, we have sent you with the crafting materials corresponding to the quantity you owned to Heidel's storage.
    • If the item was listed for sale on the Central Market, we have canceled the listing and provided you with the crafting materials to Heidel's storage.
    • If you had orders placed on the Central Market, your purchase orders were canceled.
    • If you have not settled the payment after completing the sale on the Central Market, the sale proceeds were collected.

◆ Due to changes in the Node War, the occupation information for the Node War was reset during the Oct 4 (Wed) maintenance.
- Prior to the reset, if a guild won the Node War and obtained the right to participate in the Conquest War, they will now be able to participate in the Conquest War without having to occupy a node after the reset.
- Prior to the reset, the forts that had been constructed for future participation in the Node War have been demolished and the guild funds used for fort purchase have been refunded.
- During the Oct 4 (Wed) maintenance, guilds that were occupying a node were given a letter and received one "Supreme Old Moon Box."

Tier 1 Node Wars Maximum Revive Cooldown

  • Reduced maximum revive cooldown for Tier 1 Node Wars: 60 sec → 30 sec
    • The four recovery center annex buildings are no longer constructable during this tier of Node Wars.
    • Minimum revive cooldown remains the same at 10 sec.

◆ Node/Conquest Wars Revive Cooldowns

For Tier 1 Node Wars, the base revive cooldown is 10 sec and can reach a max of 30 sec.
For Tiers 2-5 Node and Conquest Wars, the base revive cooldown is also 10 sec, with a maximum of 60 sec.

Revive cooldowns increase by one second for every minute passed in Node/Conquest Wars and per every death.

For Node/Conquest Wars where Recovery Centers can be constructed, each center built reduces 6 sec from the revive cooldown.
So with five recovery centers constructed, that would reduce a total of 30 sec from the revive cooldown.

Fort Repair Item Integration

The variety and number of items used to repair the fort, as well as the materials required to craft each item were not only difficult to obtain but were somewhat overwhelming to manage during Node/Conquest Wars.
Thus, we decided to integrate all repair items into just "1 Polished Stone," enabling for a rather convenient and speedy fix in battle.

  • Removed the following items from being used for repairing a fort/command post/field HQ during Node/Conquest Wars.
    • Impeccably Polished Stone, Fine Black Stone Powder, Miracle-Imbued Stone
      • With the removal of the above items, we've issued the respective crafting materials to your storage in Heidel during the Oct 4 (Wed) maintenance.
      • For example, if you have 1 Impeccably Polished Stone in possession, you'll find 10 Polished Stones, 5 Rough Translucent Crystals, and 1 Clear Liquid Reagent.
Actions Based on Possession and Central Market Status
  • Regarding the removed items, the following actions have been taken based on each case.
    • Items in possession: Crafting materials based on the number of items in possession will be issued to storage in Heidel
    • Items in Central Market registration queue: Registration cancelled and crafting materials sent to storage in Heidel

Mount Recovery with Supply Depots

If your mount had low health during Node/Conquest Wars, you would either let it die on purpose or would be required to constantly feed it recovery items. To remove such inconvenience, we decided to let supply depots now have the same ability as stables to recover mounts.

  • Changed supply depots to be able to recover mounts during Node/Conquest Wars.
    • Recovering mounts will cost the same amount of Silver as if done through a stable.
    • Supply depots will retain their ability to revive mounts as before.
 

Black-Robed Man

Previously you could utilize the Black-Robed Man's services to trivialize the search for certain adventurers in charge of important Node/Conquest War roles such as cannoneers, scouting parties, and those overseeing annexes/indomitable flag construction. To prevent such adventurers from getting found too early in battle, we've prevented the Black-Robed Man from offering his services starting from the 15 minutes prior to a Node/Conquest War.

  • Changed the "Black-Robed Man" in Velia to temporarily deny his services to adventurers from 15 minutes leading up to and during Node/Conquest Wars.
    • This only applies to servers with Node/Conquest Wars underway.

Cadria Elephant

We've improved on the difficulty of crafting the registration items for the Valencia and Cadria Elephants obtained via guild housing. Crafting the guild elephant mount used to be a momentous task for your guild, as it required all guild members to "gather everyone's strength" to make it happen. However, such times have passed, and we felt now as a good time to work on improving certain difficult portions of the journey to obtain this mount.

  • Improved the method of crafting the registration item for the guild mount, the Cadria Elephant.

[Guild] Mass Processable Items

First, we greatly reduced the time taken when crafting via Guild Processing. Now you can mass process up to 50 attempts worth of items. We wanted to ensure that the mass processing of materials brought together by multiple guild members wouldn't take up huge chunks of everyone's precious time. We also added replacement materials when crafting certain guild items in order to reduce a dependence on certain materials.

We've also tweaked the process of crafting the Cadria Elephant registration item as well. The previous method involved taming a Baby Elephant, then rearing it into a Valencia Elephant first, then a Cadria Elephant. We've removed the Valencia Elephant step of the process. Guilds who either already had a registered Valencia Elephant or was in the process of crafting the registration item for one will find the registration item for a Valencia Elephant sent to their guild storage. Please refer to the steps explained below to rear your guild's very own Cadria Elephant.

One of the more important feedback we've received regarding the Cadria Elephant was that a guild would have to redo the entire crafting process depending on the elephant's skillset outcome. Since the Cadria Elephant required the full cooperation of an entire guild to rear, we decided to make all Cadria Elephants to have learned all 5 skills once initially registered. All existing Cadria Elephants will also see this change reflected as well

From Arduanatt soaring in the sky to Diné crossing the desert and Doom traversing the ground, the majestic appearances and powerful unique skills of these Dream Horses have been a dream come true for many adventurers. Unlike the early days, more adventurers are now riding them, and there's a growing demand for new additions to the Dream Horse lineup. That's why we've introduced a new Mythical Dream Horse that is both stunning and formidable. We especially hope this presents an exciting new challenge for those who enjoy training and Dream Horse content, particularly those with high training levels.

Mythical Arduanatt that flys to the sky, Mythical Diné that races on water, and Mythical Doom that steps on the ground have been born.

Mythical Arduanatt possesses the inherent skills [Mighty Leap], [Soaring Wings], and [Wings of Swiftness]. Among these, the skill [Wings of Swiftness] allows Arduanatt to perform an additional dash forward while gliding in the air. This ability grants Mythical Arduanatt the freedom to explore the skies, a feat not achievable with a regular Dream Horse Arduanatt. Experience the unique charm of Mythical Arduanatt.

Mythical Diné comes with its inherent skills such as [Quicksilver], [Triple Jump], and [Protection of Okiara]. Moreover, it can freely employ these skills while traversing bodies of water, consuming the Breath of Okiara. It's important to use this judiciously, as you cannot mount Mythical Diné when it's on the water without having the Breath of Okiara.

Mythical Doom boasts three inherent skills, [Infernal Sprint], [Infernal Legion], and [Shadows of Hellfire]. And Shadows of Hellfire is a standout skill among them. This skill summons two additional Dooms upon use, meaning that guild or party members can freely ride them. Furthermore, both Mythical Doom and the summoned Dooms can be ridden by two people each, so owners of Mythical Doom can transport up to 6 people together.

We hope adventurers will realize their dreams by harnessing the distinctiveness and allure of these Mythical Dream Horses, which have evolved a step beyond the conventional Dream Horses.

Mythical Horses

  • Added 3 types of Mythical Horses, which are birthed with a pair of Dream Horses.
    • Visit the stable keeper in the following regions to attempt awakening:
      • Stonetail Horse Ranch: Gula / Grána: Melabee.
      • One female and one male Dream Horse at Lv. 30 or higher are required for the awakening.
    • Use the Mythical Censer to attempt the awakening. The base success rate is 3%.
    • If successful, two Dream Horses will fuse into one and a Mythical horse will be born.
    • If it fails, you can retrieve your Dream Horse at any time and use another Mythical Censer to try again.
  • While the basic stats (HP, Stamina, Speed, Accel, Turn, Brake) are the same as a Dream Horse, Mythical Horses can learn exclusive skills.
  • The price of a Mythical Horse is higher than the combined price of a Lv. 30 female and male Dream Horse required for the awakening, but Mythical Horses are not tradable due to its rarity.
  • Mythical Horses, as an awakened Dream Horse, do not have a gender.
  • Mythical Horses are born with all the inherent skills of regular Dream Horse with a Mythical Horse’s exclusive skills.
    • Mythical Horses have 100% mastery of its inherent skills when acquired and they will not disappear even if the horse’s growth is reset.

Krogdalo is the King of Celestial Horses who came down to care for the earth at the command of the Goddess. When he came down from the skies his majestic appearance and thunderous hoof-beat drew a hundred spirits admirers to follow behind him. Clouds of five colors floats above his head, and music could be heard among the cloud.

Krogdalo pulled out some hair from his mane and let it disperse. From his hairs came the wind, trees, and fire. After he finished touring this world he went back to the skies above. It is said that he sometimes comes back down to visit his children.

Krogdalo's Children Legend

Arduanatt
Krogdalo, the spirit of the wind and earth, had three children:
Arduanatt, Diné, and Doom.
The eldest was Arduanatt, the one who resembled the wind.
With the two wings attached to its body, Arduanatt could freely soar and glide in the air.
Arduanatt one day met and befriended Secrua, daughter of the sun.
Unlike Secrua, who was just and passionate like the sun,
Arduanatt's soul was free-roaming. This caused a lot of quarrels between them.
Eventually Arduanatt's wings melted down after a big fight,
causing her to fall to the ground.
To this day, Kamasylvians believe that after ages of hiding from Secrua,
the fallen Arduanatt will soar again among millions of ordinary horses running on the ground.

Diné
Diné, the forest's most beloved one, was the second offspring among the three children of Krogdalo.
With her fearsome, golden horn, she protected the woods of Kamasylvia from their invaders.
Being the protector of the forest, she was loved and worshipped by the forest, and at the same time, alongside her another sister, Arduanatt, was the only one who could go close to Doom.
One day, a small snake came to see Diné. With tears in its eyes, the snake looked like it was in desperate need of help and said there was a huge group of crows filling up the skies black, leading everyone to death. Fooled by the snake, Diné hurriedly strode towards the misty forest. However, the forest seemed peaceful as usual. Only later did she realize that the snake was gone and came back to her mother's trace, but by then Doom had already left the forest.
The thought that she had failed to protect her own family made her feel despair. She soon realized that she needed to find Doom at once. Leaving her duty of protecting the woods behind, Diné left the forest for the desert.
Since that day, whenever they found a golden mirage from beyond the forest, the people of Kamasylvia would believe that Diné was coming back to the arms of the woods once again from the arid desert.

Doom
Doom, the master of flames, was the youngest among the three children of Krogdalo.
Every step she made created searing blaze that burnt everything.
Unlike Arduanatt of the wind, who flew around the skies freely, or Diné of the earth, forest's most beloved one, Doom was not free from the burden of her own flame. Apart from her sisters, no one would dare come close to Doom. Because of this, she suffered from loneliness for a long time.
There was someone who had been eyeing Doom and her agony. It was Ibedor, the serpent protector of the Mirror of the Rift.
Take a good look at your true self. At the end of the arid desert, there lies a burning hell gate. It is there, where you shall meet a person. Weep no more over your bitter loneliness, for the one you will meet will understand you the way you are.   • Revamped the season servers to no longer end after a certain period of time, but so Adventurers can start and graduate whenever they please.
    • If you've graduated from the 2023 Summer Season, you can start the new season immediately and graduate whenever you wish.
    • If you've yet to graduate from the 2023 Summer Season, you can now graduate whenever you please.
      • Once you've graduated from the 2023 Summer Season, you can immediately start the evergreen season.
 

Season Character Ticket

  • Issued 2 Season Character Tickets with the opening of the evergreen season.
    • You'll find the Season Character Ticket counter displayed in the Character Selection window after logging in.
    • You can hold up to 5 Season Character Tickets at a time.
 
  • Season Character Tickets are used to create new season characters for the always-open season servers.
    • As long as you have a ticket, you can create a season character whenever you please.
      • A ticket will be consumed when you graduate with a season character..
    • You can only create one season character at any given time.
    • If you've yet to graduate from the 2023 Summer Season, your Season Character Ticket counter will display 3 tickets. Once you graduate from the summer season, you'll see it drop to 2 tickets, thus starting the evergreen season with the same number of tickets as other adventurers.
 

 

What's a Season Server?

  • Season servers are special servers designed with novice Adventurers in mind. Leveling is also faster compared to normal servers.
    • You will need to create a season character to log into the now always-open season server.
    • Season characters can log into both season and normal servers.

  • Once you feel your season character has grown enough, it's time to graduate from the season servers.
    • We strongly recommend novice adventurers to take your time in leveling and gearing up your season character to max possible levels before attempting to graduate from the season servers.
  • Upon graduation, season characters will be converted into normal ones, and each piece of your season Tuvala gear set with the highest enhancement level will be converted into normal Tuvala gear, and all other duplicates removed (except for rings and earrings which will have a maximum of two of each converted)

  • Upon season graduation, you will automatically reconnect and your season character will be converted into a normal character.
  • Graduation gifts will be sent to your Mail.
  • You can only graduate from the season while logged into a normal server, and must have cleared your inventory and storage of 2023 Summer Season items such as Fughar's Timepiece.
  • Each piece of your season Tuvala gear set with the highest enhancement level will be converted into normal Tuvala gear, and all other duplicates removed (except for rings and earrings which will have a maximum of two of each converted).
    • All unconverted Tuvala gear will be removed.
  • Upon graduation, you may no longer enjoy any of the following season benefits.

Tag Characters for Post-Graduation Growth

Tagging Characters

  • You can tag two characters in your Family, which allows you to instantly switch between the tagged characters.
    • Tagged characters will share their in-game location at all times.
      (For example, if tagged character A moves to a monster zone, then switches to tagged character B, B will log into the exact same location in said monster zone.)
    • You can only tag normal characters.
 

Leveling with Tagged Characters

  • The tag system has been revamped to allow tagged characters to now share EXP gains.
    • By alternating between tagged characters, you could potentially level up multiple characters at a time.
[Revamped "Character Tag" System in a Nutshell]

1. Link two characters A & B (who are both at least Lv. 7) who you wish to tag in the "Character's Tag Setting".
2. Leveling with character A will accumulate the same amount of EXP gained to character B.
3. Log into character B, open the "Tag Characters" window, and press the "Get EXP" button to claim the EXP gained by character A.
( You can also level with character B and claim EXP gains on character A. )
- Combat/Skill EXP gained through Black Spirit's Training does not accumulate.
- Only Skill EXP gained through PvE combat will be accumulated.

When obtaining the accumulated EXP, leveling up will be temporarily halted once at Lv. 49, Lv. 56, and Lv. 60.
- Each time you will need to press the "Get EXP" again to level up with the accumulated EXP to the next threshold.
You will also need to complete the "[To Level 50!] Go Beyond Your Own Limits" quest through the Black Spirit in order to level from Lv. 49 to Lv. 50.
 

 
Learn More - Item Copy
Once you've tagged two characters, you can also enable them to share the same gear. This feature is known as "Item Copy."
Complete the "[Marni's Suspicious Device] Old Moon Shop" quest available from Lv. 56 through the Black Spirit to unlock the Item Copy feature.

When copying items, all equipped defense gear, weapons, accessories, tools, alchemy stones, and artifacts will be copied into the bags of the tagged character.
Copying items consumes "Marni's Unstable Fuel."

  • The evergreen season awards all adventurers with 2 Season Character Tickets, meaning you can start and graduate from the season twice.
    • You can also complete the Season Pass twice, meaning double the rewards to claim.

Valkyrie
The Awakened Valkyrie would repeatedly cycle between Sacrum Ferit and Promptness for PvE (affectionately christened "Valk Train"), making her an overpowering presence in zones where comparably weaker monsters spawned. However, this cycle proved less effective the higher the difficulty of the monster zone. Thus, we carried out an overall restructuring of her Awakening arsenal by somewhat lowering the overwhelming efficiency of her capabilities in so-called "one-shot spots" to more properly equip her to deal with high-end zones.
The Awakened Valkyrie would also frequently switch through a wide variety of Awakening skills for her movement combos. We felt that this playstyle didn't match the whole giant-weapon-wielding archetype. Therefore, with today's update, we introduce a revamped Hastiludium, which will ensure the Valkyrie feels and plays like the heavily-armored, giant-weapon-wielding knight character that she is..

Witch, Wizard
Succession Wizards and Witches had several skills in their arsenal that saw less utilization. This included [Prime: Earthquake: Destruction], whose long casting time produced not-so-impressive damage even with the extra attack, and [Prime: Meteor Shower: Focus], whose long cooldown made it see less action in the field of battle. Therefore we decided to change [Prime: Earthquake: Destruction] into a spell that summons a mighty earthquake in one motion, while reducing [Prime: Meteor Shower: Focus]’s cooldown to encourage frequent use.
We particularly decided to let Wizards reduce the cooldown of [Prime: Meteor Shower: Areal] via an effect of [Prime: Elemental Flow] even when comboing quickly with [Rain of Fire], so we look forward to seeing our Wizards wreck more havoc with this update. For Witches, [Prime: Multiple Magic Arrows]’s Lightning elemental effect was producing the greatest damage output, thus making it in the most sought-out elemental effect of the four. Hence, we made the proper adjustments so Witches can now deal high amounts of damage with any of the four elemental effects.

The Great Ocean

In the previous update, we introduced a decrease in weight for Lv. 1 barter items. Additionally, we have made a significant change to the bartering process by allowing direct exchange of Lv. 1 barter items with the "Verdant Black Stone" instead of the "Crow Merchants Guild's Barter Voucher," greatly reducing the exchange process. Furthermore, we have reduced the crafting time for the "Sunset Black Stone," which is a ship equipment enhancement material, to alleviate the time burden. For adventurers interested in shipbuilding, we have significantly reduced the acquisition period for crafting blueprints of the sailboat (4 days) and the frigate (5 days).

Also, we have moved the barter-related quests that were previously available at Oquilla's Eye to Iliya Island, and we have added additional barter-related quests on Iliya Island. As a result, combat-related quests with ocean monsters will be centered around Oquilla's Eye, while barter-related quests will be centered around Iliya Island. We have also added supply transport quests between Iliya Island and Oquilla's Eye, allowing for more streamlined routes. The newly added barter quests on Iliya Island can be accepted and completed simultaneously, providing a solid foundation for novice captains starting their bartering journey to easily level up and grow.

We have also made changes to the [Exploration] quests that could be accepted through exploration during bartering. Some quests were interrupting the flow of bartering and causing inconvenience, so we removed those quests and changed them to barter-related quests, allowing for a smoother completion of quests while maintaining the flow. We hope that captains who intentionally left some [Exploration] quests incomplete can now comfortably complete the quests and enjoy the game.

We will continue to make efforts to ensure that the journey of captains sailing into the ocean is more enjoyable.

The currents were removed on Aug 23. Although this removal addressed the inconvenience caused by backflows during navigation, it also eliminated the forward currents, which had allowed access to certain sea routes. So we promptly released a patch to restore some of these routes. Furthermore, numerous adventurers reported that the "shallow water" effect, which reduces movement speed, was being applied not only near the coast but also in the open ocean.

After conducting a thorough review, we discovered that the UI was originally designed for use on land and was triggered when a character entered a puddle or a river. We deeply regret any inconvenience caused while making adjustments to the currents. As a solution, we are currently developing a new terrain type exclusively for maritime use, called the "Great Ocean." When this patch is implemented, the terrain will seamlessly transit from shallow waters to the open ocean when entering deeper waters, and the movement speed will be fully applied.

Additionally, we have been aware of the absence of a UI element to indicate a sea route, which can be challenging for adventurers. To address this, upon entering a sea route, the "Oquilla's Guidance" icon will now activate, signaling your entry. Presently, entering a sea route boosts movement speed by 1.7 times. With the introduction of the Great Ocean, overall movement speed in the ocean will be adjusted to 1.4 times, considering the speed boost in the Great Ocean. With dreams as vast as the Great Ocean, they set sail, but encountered overloading issues in the first barter... That was something we wanted to improve. At that time, we found it not advisable to only travel to tier-1 islands for bartering. And this made it difficult to make improvements. As time has passed, the number of barters per tier has increased, allowing us to share news of improvements.
  • Decreased the weight of barter for Lv. 1 trade goods: 800 LT → 100 LT.
    • Improved the ship inventory weight when bartering the materials from land for Lv. 1 trade goods.

[Barter] Lost Trade Box (Obtain random trade goods: Lv. 1 to 5)

  • Trade goods lost by traders near the Black Desert continent have washed ashore. Gerio from Beiruwa Island and Tidio from Barater Island have decided to present these for barter.
    • Added [Barter] Lost Trade Box to Beiruwa Island and Barater Island.
      • On each island, you can exchange Lv. 1 trade goods with this box up to 4 times.
      • Deactivated the barter of materials from land for Lv. 1 trade goods, which was previously available on the respective islands.
    • Changed so that you can obtain one out of the Lv. 1-5 trade goods when opening the box, according to a set probability.

Green Artisan (gathering mini-game) - Fluid Collecting

  • Changed the number of successes for the fluid collecting Green Artisan mini-game.
    • Mini-games can now end in success (x10 items) with fewer successes.

Atoraxxion

  • The secret records that were stored in Atoraxxion's Sol Magia and the Exchange are starting to be revealed.
    • Improved so that you can obtain the knowledge of Atoraxxion's final boss when interacting with the following objects in Atoraxxion.

  • Now all adventurers will know of your exploits when you defeat the most difficult bosses of the Black Shrine.
    • Blessings of the Morning will be applied only in the server where the boss was defeated.
    • All blessings last for 180 min.
    • The blessing with the element the defeated boss was weak to will be chosen
    • You can receive different Blessings of the Morning at once.
    • If a boss that grants the same blessing as the one currently active on your character is defeated, the duration of that blessing will be refreshed for your character along with the defeat notification.
      • When a boss that bestows the Blessing of the Warm Sun is defeated on a server with the blessing already active, the duration of the blessing will be refreshed to 180 min.
      • The Blessing of the Thriving Earth's Item Drop Rate increase buff can be applied up to the maximum limit of 400% including Arsha Server and Territory Occupation buffs.

  • Increased Apex Changui's attack speed during its combo attacks.

  • Changed the below of the boss Songakshi for both the Black Shrine and Land of the Morning Light's main questline.
    • Fixed the issue where the ranged attacks of Songakshi hit targets not in the direction she faces.

Mount

Sprinting is one of the skills used to move quickly while riding upon horseback. However, after equipping a saddle on a horse that has not already mastered the Sprinting skill, you would quite often end up falling off your horse when attempting to use the skill. Now all horses will learn Sprinting mastered at 100%, so we hope this is especially helpful for trainers of newly-awakened Dream Horses.
  • Improved the Sprinting skill to now be learned at 100% mastery.
    • You will still require your mount to be equipped with a saddle to use the skill.
    • You can also use "Sprinting" while auto-moving from at least Training Professional 1.
      • All horses who have learned Sprinting prior to Sept 13 (Wed) will have the skill learned to 100% mastery after the maintenance.
