This is the Black Desert Console Service Team.

We have decided to make changes to the Privacy Policy to provide you with a better gameplay environment and fairer service. The updated Privacy Policy will be effective as of November 29th, 2023.

 

Please read the information below to avoid any inconvenience while playing the game.

- Subject of Application: Black Desert Privacy Policy 

- Date of Application (Effective Date): November 29th, 2023

- Main Revisions 

• Deleted the section on "Reasons for Separating/Storing Personal Information of Long-term Unused (Dormant) Accounts"
- Due to the deletion of Article 39-6 of the Personal Information Protection Act (Special Provision on the Destruction of Personal Information), the obligation to separate, store, and destroy the personal information of users who have not used the service for one year has been lifted, and as a result, the dormant account conversion system has also been discontinued.
- However, in order to protect the valuable account information of adventurers, if there is no record of logging into Black Desert for a certain period of time, the account will be deactivated, and more detailed information regarding this will be provided in advance through pre-announcement before implementation.

However, please be noted that if you delete your account, all your game data including characters and items will be erased, and deleted game data cannot be restored.
