Monster
With the updates on skill damage increase, skill add-on revision etc., we've found it necessary to re-evaluate monster zones that were set based on the standards before these updates. As such, we've updated the AP restriction and recommended AP (please note that the recommended AP is a guideline for each monster zone) of some monster zones that were inconsistent with the current standards.
 
As you now possess higher stats than before, you can inflict more damage with higher AP. However, we've made some adjustments to monster HP to prevent the loot revenue from increasing too much.
 
In addition, we've added a feature to Monster Zone Info that allows you to intuitively check the max AP limit, which many of you were curious about. However, as this could be quite confusing for rookie adventurers, we've added a button that allows you see the stats. As equipment in Black Desert and the level of your equipment change over time, balance of monster zones and max AP limit will be adjusted continuously.

Monster Zone Info - View Total Stats

  • Added View Total Stats to the Monster Zone Info UI.
    • When you press the button, the recommended and my stats will be changed to numbers based on total stats.
      • My total stats combine Extra AP Against Monsters and Monster Damage Reduction, and are displayed including any currently applied effects.
      • Total DP is displayed as the sum of Damage Reduction and Monster Damage Reduction.
      • Extra Damage to Kamasylvia, Demihumans, and Humans are not included in the total sum.
    • Added the display of max AP limit when view total stats is toggled on.
      • When you exceed the max AP limit, it shows you how much of your exceeded AP is applied.
 

Olun's Valley

  • Fixed an issue where Golem's Left Arm was sometimes not properly destroyed.

[Elvia] Saunil Camp

  • Improved the Agile Saunil Commander to spawn closer to the adventurer's location when it appears.
  • Fixed the spawn of [Sharp] Saunil Siege Captain and Agile Saunil Commander to not push away the adventurer if they are located at their spawn location.

Aakman Temple

  • Fixed an issue where the character was sometimes moved to an abnormal terrain when hit by a monster in certain areas of the Aakman Temple.

  • [Black Shrine] Changed the system to display the HP bar of the "Sun Aura" that appears in certain patterns during combat with the Calamity 6 & 7 Golden Pig King.

 

Mount
  • Changed the breeding of existing Tier 6-8 horses to always produce a horse of at least Tier 6.
    • Even when breeding Tier 6 stallion and mare at Lv. 1, a horse of Tier 6 or higher will be born instead of a Tier 4-5 horse.

  • Changed Horse Emblems obtained through quests that gave Tier 3-5 horses to those that give Tier 6 horses.
    • The new Horse Emblem gives you a Tier 6 black mare or stallion which already has the skills Sprint and Instant Accel at 100%.

  • With healthier and finer horses now roaming the world of Black Desert, Tier 1-5 horses have gradually disappeared.
    • When using a horse appearance change item, you can choose to change to the appearance of a Tier 1-5 horse.
※ Changed Tier 1-5 horses to Tier 6 with their skills and levels intact during the Mar 20 (Wed) maintenance.
- Their appearances were also changed to those of Tier 6 horses.

  • Stable Keepers will no longer sell the below Tier 1 Horse Emblems.

  • Fixed an issue where Auto-navigation from Serca Island to Duch Island was obstructed by terrain while on a ship.

Imperial Steed Breeding Chance

  • Increased the chance of an Imperial Steed being born via breeding in the stable.
    • Doubled the likelihood of birthing an Imperial Steed via breeding for Level 30 Tier 8 horses.
      • For other conditions, breeding success rates for an Imperial Steed have increased by 1.6 times.
※ The chance for an Imperial Steed birth is not affected by the Training level or mastery. Higher tier and level horses increase breeding success
- However, the effect of level on the chance is capped at Lv. 30.

※ The Imperial Steed can only be obtained via breeding and cannot be obtained via exchange.
※ The following items cannot be used on the Imperial Steed:
- Mount Brand Spell Stone, Mount Skill Change/Selection Coupon, (All) Mount Skill Training Coupon, (Premium) Horse Appearance Change Coupon, Reset Mount Growth, Mount Name Change Coupon

  • Added an effect to Kkebichests in the Land of Morning Light to be visible from a distance.
    • This effect is not applied to Kkebichests you've already found.

 

UI

Auto-move to All Storages

  • Improved the "Auto-move to Storage" feature.
    • Added the "Auto-move to All" feature in addition to "Auto-move to Current".
      • Using this feature, you can move all items from your inventory to all storages, including the currently open storage, at once.
      • If the same item is stored in multiple town storages, the storage with the most quantity is designated as the move location.
      • Using the Auto-move feature with the Pearl Inventory open will automatically move items to storage.


※ The "Auto-move" can be set to not be stored automatically through the Auto-move Exclusions (icon) button.
- Up to 10 items can be selected, including cooking items, potions/elixirs, worker stamina recovery items, and pet feed items.
※ The "Auto-move to All" can be used for storages that have been made available via the "[Abyss One] The Magnus" quest.


Atoraxxion's entry UI had Vahmalkea selected automatically and the enter button was located at the top of the screen, so adventurers who were not used to this entered to an area they did not wish to go to. The UI has now been improved so that you must select the desired area first before pressing the enter button.
  • Improved the Atoraxxion entry screen.
    • Changed the entry process to require pressing the 'Enter' button after selecting the desired area.
    • If you press enter without selecting an area, the UI will highlight the area icons.


  • Added guides and buttons to check the probability info of each content.
    • Added a probability info button that links to the Random Chance Items & Probabilities List at the bottom right of the Pearl Shop (LB+X/L1+□)
    • Changed the Enhancement window to display up to the fourth decimal place when the decimal of the enhancement probability and fairy sprouting probability is an infinite decimal.

  • Added a button at the bottom of Knowledge, Black Spirit Pass, and Daily Special Pass to view Probability Information.
  • Added examples to the description of items with Item Drop Rate effect to guide on how the effect is applied.
  • Changed the probabilities related to horse, pet, and fairy skill changes to be rounded to the fifth decimal place when they are infinite decimals.

 

System
We've introduced the "Report Chat" function.
In the past, when reporting inappropriate chat, adventurers had to submit a ticket to Support with a captured screenshot. However, with the recent update, you can conveniently and accurately report incidents directly within the game through the "Report Chat".
The submitted reports will automatically include a portion of the chat history, including your conversation for a more precise review. This enhancement allows us to promptly review and address the reports submitted by adventurers. 
  • Added "Report Chat" function.
    • Select the adventurer's name in the chat and then "Report Chat" button to use this function.
    • In the Report Chat window, select the conversation to report and detail the reason in the provided input box.
 
※ After the function is stabilized, it will be changed so that reports can be received through the in-game function, not through Support.

  • Fixed an issue where dye on mount gear for horses attached to wagons sometimes failed to show.
  • Fixed the issue where the unavailable quest category was displayed in Quest - Main.
  • Fixed a discrepancy between the navigation guide and actual quest target location for "Black Rust Subjugation."

  • Fixed an issue where the color of the upstream and downstream water flowing from the Mountain of Sanctity to Northwestern Calpheon was displayed differently.
  • Improved the presentation of some trees and water in Oasis of Dreams to appear more natural.
  • Fixed the issue where some characters in Mail letters were sometimes abnormal.
  • Fixed the issue where completing the [Weekly] Imperfect Beings quest did not complete the following step in the Progression Pass.

  • Improved the sound balance by reducing the overly loud striking sounds of skills in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where the glass did not disappear when sitting during the unique animation while wearing the Lovely Bloom Armor.
  • Fixed an issue where the Strong Protection effect was not applied at the entrance of Red Battlefield: Castle Ruins.
  • Fixed unnatural character appearances when walking on certain terrains of Heidel Castle.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the initiation of "Lady Norma's Letter of Introduction," which grants the "Tasting Wine" social action.
  • Fixed an issue where the surroundings would occasionally light up late when approaching NPCs with torches beneath Valencia Castle.
  • Fixed unnatural movements of Abelin in Velia during conversations.
  • Fixed temporary invisibility of some NPCs' appearances when interacting with specific NPCs in Calpheon.
  • Fixed the text about enhancement failure resulting in enhancement level decrease to not be displayed when attempting Desperate enhancement for Slumbering Origin gear.
  • Fixed the issue where new accounts could not apply customization when creating their first character.
  • Fixed the issue where the Inventory window would close when opening the internal UI of Inventory while a certain UI was open.
  • [Woosa] Fixed the issue where wearing the following outfits and Nacre Butterfly Hairpin together resulted in an unnatural appearance: Academia Helmet, Maiden of Wisteria Helmet, Taebaek Helmet, Mookhyang Helmet, and Grandpa Cron's Helper Helmet.
  • [Scholar] Fixed the issue where wearing Academia Armor resulted in an unnatural appearance.
  • [Nova] Fixed an issue where the cooldown for Succession: Vengeful Star wasn't displayed in the Skill Cooldown Slot.
  • [Mystic] Fixed an issue where the push effect was not displayed in the Cestus Training or Rapid Stream skill details.
  • [Warrior, Ranger, Sorceress, Tamer, Valkyrie] Fixed unnatural expressions during the unique animation while wearing the Lovely Bloom Armor.
