As it is the week before Halloween, we decided to have some fun and games for you to enjoy. The Community Week is a new initiative where we spend the whole week interacting and playing Black Desert with the fine people of the community. Each day, the Pearl Abyss Community Managers will be jumping in game for a good few hours, answering your questions, chatting and also running fun events that will give us the opportunity to offer a reprieve from your usual activities.

It’s time to let it all out against the Pearl Abyss CMs. They will be jumping into Battle Arena on 2 different servers and letting you guys go ham. They will not be an easy kill as they will be decked in full GM gear, but with enough of you hitting them they will eventually succumb to their wounds (it works, we tested it...promise). This event will be run multiple times, but will reward a unique title to only one of those brave enough to face the CMs.

● Be the Adventurer to land the final blow against them and you will earn one of these unique titles (Below are tentative and subject to change):

What's more fun that looking for a needle in a Haystack? That's right looking for a GM in the desert. For this event, we will be using the normal hide and seek event rules, in that you need to talk to GM NPC’s to start a quest and mark off the objectives, the only difference is 4 of them will be in Sand Grain Bazaar, and the final GM, Yellow will be placed somewhere in the desert for you to find. We will be dishing out clues throughout the event, so make sure to find your way to Sand Grain Bazaar for this bizarre hide and seek.

● Hide and seek events require you to find a quest giver NPC, three objective NPCs and a reward giving NPC.
● This event the first 4 NPC’s will be spawned in Sand Grain Bazaar, with the reward NPC being hidden somewhere in the Desert

● Find the reward giving NPC to complete the quest, and rewards will be sent to you at a later time.

Rewards:
1st player to find the final NPC: Halloween Gift Box x3 + Halloween Furniture x1
2nd~10th: Halloween Gift Box x2 + Halloween Furniture x1
All other finishers: Halloween Gift Box x1 + Item Collection Increase Scroll x1

Red Battlefield is usually a team deathmatch, but we wanted to try something new, so we will be running a Capture the Cart event inside Red Battlefield to see how it goes. This will be our first time trying to run this style of GM Event, and issues will probably occur, but we wanted to give it a shot and see how it goes. This will all be ran manually by the Community Managers, so you will need to be patient if things go wrong.

The rules are simple. A Mine cart will be summoned in the middle of the arena, and each team will need to fight over control of the mine cart, and carry it to their own base. Once the cart has entered the teams fort, a new Cart will be spawned in the center. The team with the most carts in their base will be claimed the winner at the end of the battlefield!

Update: Things went wrong. The event details have changed, but find out more in-game!

People who attempt to Spawn Camp will be dealt with harshly.

● Enter select Red Battlefields during the period (announced via server messages).
● Fight to the death, collect carts, win prizes.

Loser: Elion’s Tears x3

The last few events have been so much fun, but we are going to need a breather. With that in mind, we will be hanging out at Velia Arena holding a training session where you can practice your combos, learn your class, and overall have a fun time with us! We encourage both low level as well as high level Adventurers to come and learn (or maybe even teach others!) with us! 

● Join us at Velia Arena, just west of Velia.
● We will stay there for an hour or so, then move over to Heidel Arena!

Rewards:
No rewards, just hang out.

Let us know during the Community Week which event is your favorite, and we will bring it back for the last day of community week!
