Event I – Source of Lightning

A mysterious energy has begun to roam throughout the world of Black Desert. Monsters fear the effects of it and therefore have it on their person, keeping it away from the hands of Adventurers. Defeat monsters in Black Desert for a chance at obtaining [Event] Source of Lightning, granting you and nearby Adventurers “Extra AP Against Monsters +20” for a limited time!

Details

① Defeat monsters during the event for a chance to obtain [Event] Source of Lightning.

② The [Event] Source of Lightning will be immediately used upon being obtained. You will then see the message “A mysterious energy pervades the air.” and a lightning effect will around you appear for 6-7 seconds. 

③ This lightning effect will move around the general area and lightning will strike down from the skies after a certain period of time. Characters struck by this lightning will obtain a “Extra AP Against Monsters +20” buff effect.

- This buff has a duration of 5 minutes.

- The event buff’s duration will be refreshed if you receive it again while it is already active. (For example, you receive the buff again while you have 2 minutes remaining, then the buff’s duration will be refreshed to 5 minutes.)

Event II – To Help or To Steal?

A Goblin seems to have... ceased to function? Adventurers, please help any rather still-looking goblins that you encounter! Yes, the Goblin has a bag filled with Gold and yes, the Goblin probably won’t notice that the bag is gone, but Adventurers will surely help the Goblin.... no?

Event Details

① During the event period, [Stupefied] Goblins will appear throughout the world of Black Desert.

- The [Stupefied] Goblin will disappear one hour after first appearing. 

- All Adventurers can interact with the [Stupefied] Goblin. 

- However, the [Stupefied] Goblin will not appear in the Valencia region.

② Interact with the [Stupefied] Goblin for two options. 

* Adventurers who completed the [Event] The Thanks of the Merchants quest will be unable to see the “Clap so that the goblin will come to.” option. 

③ The [Event] Shakatu Merchants Certificate and [Event] Goblin's Bag can be used in the following ways.

[Event] Shakatu Merchants Certificate

- During the event, go to the [Shakatu] NPC Shakatu for the exchange quest below.

* This quest can only be completed once per Family. 

* If you accept the quest before the end of the event, you can still complete the quest after the event ends. 

* The [Event] Shakatu Merchants' Gold Bar can be sold to NPC Vendors for 3,000,000 silver. 

* You must have the [Event] Shakatu Merchants Certificate in your inventory to accept the event quest. 

- You can use Manufacture (L) with [Event] Shakatu Merchants' Gold Bar x10 to obtain [Event] Gold Bar Box x1.

- Open the [Event] Gold Bar Box to obtain the items below. 

[Event] Goblin's Bag]

- Open the [Event] Goblin's Bag to obtain gold bars! 

* The Gold Bar 10G can be sold to Storage Keepers for 1,000,000 silver.

The most electrifying Archaeologist in Black Desert Sciences, Martha Kiyen, has put a pause on her older studies and looking to get into the new ring of studies regarding [Event] Charred Rock Fragments. She is asking the millions... [hold pause]... and millions of Adventurers around the world to smack down some [Event] Charred Rock Fragments in front of her so that she can reward them generously!

Obtain by Playing Daily!

During the event period, earn “[Event] Charred Rock Fragments” by spending time in the world of Black Desert!

* The event Challenge can be completed once a day per family and reset at the following times:

- EU: 01:00 AM (UTC+1) / NA: 05:00 PM (PDT) / ASIA: 09:00 AM (GMT+9)

* The Challenge reward will stack after being completed and can be collected later.

② Exchange the [Event] Charred Rock Fragment with the NPC Martha Kiyen in the Northern Wheat Plantation for the items below.

※ Pressing on the [Event] Charred Rock Fragment will generate a path to Martha Kiyen.

* If you do not have at least one [Event] Charred Rock Fragment in your inventory, you will not be able to see the exchange or quest button.

Wait, that’s not all!

Martha Kiyen has other rewards that she is willing to give for more of these fragments. Bring Martha plenty of [Event] Charred Rock Fragments to get valuable rewards!

* If you do not have at least one [Event] Charred Rock Fragment in your inventory, you will not be able to see the exchange or quest options.

* Only the Cron Stone and Valks’ Cry can be exchanged multiple times, and the other items can only be exchanged once per Family. Please note that the exchange quests will not be counted towards Rulupee’s Adventure Log.

* The items can still be exchanged after the end of the event.
