As you may have heard, an official broadcast was held with the lead producer of Black Desert, Jae-hee Kim. As such, a notice, “A Letter to our Black Desert Adventurers”, was released to summarize what Jae-hee shared for all Black Desert Online regions.

The details of both the broadcast and the notice touched on plans for reducing the barriers of entry to allow new Adventurers to settle in, quality-of-life improvements for current Adventurers, as well as shifting the developmental priorities to place the class reboots as a top priority.

This information pertains to the overall direction of both Black Desert Online and Black Desert Console. However, there are concerns and feedback that are exclusive to Black Desert Console. Therefore, the Black Desert Console Team is preparing a special Developer’s Note that will pertain specifically to Console Adventurers, scheduled to be released later next week. The Console-specific letter will detail what is presently being worked on for Black Desert Console, what is planned for the future, and what changes will be made for the console platform.  

While this Console-specific note is being prepared, we would like to announce a bit of news regarding certain quality-of-life updates that our Console Adventurers have been expecting. Adventurers have been asking about mixing and matching costumes, potion weight reduction, Treant/Desert Camouflage Costume rework, enhancement UI renewal, as well as others.

Although it is quite difficult to announce updates in detail ahead of time (due to developmental schedule changes), the September 8th update (UTC+1) will see potion weight reduction, perfume/elixir cooldown reduction, and the enhancement UI renewal making their way to Black Desert Console. The full details of the September 8th update will be released through the patch notes.

We would like to take this time to thank all of our Black Desert Console Adventurers for all of the love, support, and feedback given to us. The special Developer’s note will be released later next week.
