While the arrival of Sage has taken the world of Black Desert by storm, there are a few mysteries that have arrived alongside him.

Hexahedrons have appeared and it seems that Alustin in Velia may have some answers about these mysterious items. There have also been sightings of Sage’s Ancient Kyve around the world of Black Desert. The Ancient Kyves harbor powers that grant buffs to those who approach it, though perhaps only Sage can draw out its true abilities...

Event I - Piece of the Puzzle

Pieces of the Hexahedron have been found all over the world of Black Desert. Defeat monsters, gather resources, or go fishing during the event period to collect [Event] Hexahedron Pieces. While they can individually fetch a bit of Silver, their true powers are found when alchemizing them with Hexahedrons.

① Defeat monsters, gather, or fish during the event period to obtain the item below!

* Please note that the event item cannot be obtained from Water Scooping, Digging with a Shovel, or Milking.

* The [Event] Hexahedron Piece can be sold to NPC Vendors for 500,000 silver.

* Items for this event will not impact the rate of obtaining existing items.

Event II – Depends On Hexahedron

With all of the [Event] Hexahedron Pieces that you collect, alchemize them with the Hexahedrons that you get. Alustin of Velia will reward you for the Hexahedrons that you create.

① Log in during the event period to obtain the following items from the Challenge menu!

* The event Challenge can be completed once a day per family and reset at the following times:

- EU: 01:00 AM (UTC+1) / NA: 05:00 PM (PDT) / ASIA: 09:00 AM (GMT+9)

* The Challenge reward will stack after being completed and can be collected later.

② Use Simple Alchemy with the items from the event Challenge to obtain the items below:

③ Exchange the items obtained from Simple Alchemy with the [Velia NPC] Alustin for the items below.

Event III – Power of the Ancients

With sighting of Sage’s Ancient Kyve all of the world, gossip about what powers the Ancient Kyves hold have spread from town to town. Amongst all of the rumors that have been spread, there are two key elements that are consistent with every spreading tale:

1. Those who touch the Ancient Kyve will have a buff bestowed upon them

2. Sage is the only one who can draw out the deepest powers of the Ancient Kyve

Event Details

① During the event period, [Disassembled] Ancient Kyves will appear around monster zones.

- When a [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve appears, you will see the message “An Ancient Kyve materializes nearby!”

② Interact with the [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve and select “Approach the Kyve” to receive a Skill EXP +300% buff.

- This buff has a duration of 180 minutes and the [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve will disappear 30 minutes after it first appears.

③ When playing as Sage, however, you can power up the [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve into the [Rumbling] Ancient Kyve to receive a stronger buff.

- A special option will be available for Sage. By selecting the “Extend your hand onto the Kyve” option, Sage will power it up into the [Rumbling] Ancient Kyve.

④ Interact with the powered up [Rumbling] Ancient Kyve and select "Approach the Kyve." to receive a Combat EXP +100% and Skill EXP +300% buff.

- This buff has a duration of 180 minutes, but the [Rumbling] Ancient Kyve will disappear 30 minutes after it first appears. Additionally, interacting with the Ancient Kyve will refresh the buff, removing any similar buffs (Mysterious Knight, [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve, etc.) in the process.

Details Regarding the Ancient Kyve’s Buff

① Only the event buff from the most recent interaction with the Ancient Kyve will apply, and all similar buffs will disappear. For example, if you have an active buff from interacting with the [Rumbling] Ancient Kyve and you interact with the [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve, then the [Rumbling] Ancient Kyve’s buff will disappear and the [Disassembled] Ancient Kyve’s buff will newly apply.

② Any past similar event buffs (Mysterious, Knight, Ynix’s Seed, Sandstorm) that are active will disappear if you receive the Ancient Kyve’s buff by interacting with it.

③ If you receive the exact same event buff while it is already active, the buff’s duration will be refreshed.

E.g.) If you re-acquire the same buff with 50 minutes remaining, then the duration time will be refreshed to 180 minutes.

* The three details mentioned above applies to all similar event buffs. (Mysterious, Knight, Ynix’s Seed, Sandstorm)
