What is Item Copy?
Item Copy lets you share a designated character’s gear with another tagged character. Copy your main character’s best gear to a new class you wish to try, and use the same gear on both!

Item Copy lets your main character’s gear become available to a tagged character as well.
If you ever wished to don your hard-earned gear on another class/character, simply tag them and embark on a new adventure in Black Desert today.

- Tagging Characters
To proceed with “Item Copy,” you must first set up Character Tag and complete the prerequisite quest.

▲ Place the two characters you want to tag in the same town, head to Menu - Character - Tag Characters, select the character to tag, and press the Tag button!

* Please note the following when tagging characters.
- The two tagged characters will move together and always share the same location.
By enabling the “Travel Separately” option, each tagged character can move independently. - You can only untag characters in the town where you first set up the tag. - Tagged characters cannot trade trade goods. - Both characters must be at least Lv. 7. - Any EXP gained by one tagged character is also gained by the other.  ▲ Press the “Get EXP” button in the Character’s Tag Setting UI to get the stored EXP gained by the tagged character.

- After tagging your characters, complete the [Marni's Suspicious Device] A Splendid Deal questline from the Black Spirit to transfer items.
* You can accept this quest from the Black Spirit with a character that is Lv. 56 or higher.
Once you fulfill both requirements, you’ll be able to see the “Item Copy” button.

In order to copy items, you need Marni's Unstable Fuel.
Marni's Unstable Fuel can be purchased from the Old Moon Manager NPC in each major city/town for 10,000,000 Silver.
